EDIT: Cancelled due to being suboptimal. Spikestuff made a TAS of this game in March of this year that was 4.08 seconds faster. If I can improve that, I’ll make a new submission for this game.
About the Game:
Friday the 13th: Return to Camp Blood is an NES homebrew horror game based on the 1980 film Friday the 13th, created by FistaGames. It was originally made for PC in 1998, with a demake for the NES releasing in 2022 along with his other horror games. You play as Jason Voorhees, who visits Camp Blood and kills everything in sight.
About the TAS:
This TAS aims for fastest completion, which means completing both the main level and the bonus cabin slaughter level as fast as possible.
This TAS was a recommendation from the developer himself, FistaGames, and is an improvement of 23.81 seconds over his 2nd rejected submission.
Main Level:
We start with an opening cutscene of Jason killing his first victim. After this there are a few textboxes reading the following:
"Damn teenagers... Back to Camp Blood for more... It[']s your job to kill all of the teenagers... and to return to Crystal Lake..."
Then we head to a hut with 3 boys in it. We stab all 3 of them as fast as we can with a hint of RNG manipulation.
After that, we have to trek through a couple of crossroads, which leads us to a police station. Behind said police station is an electric box. We stab the box and find another boy hiding. We stab him and move on.
East from the police station, we find that a girl's clothes have been scattered on the floor. Then we head north to find her and a boy having- no, let's skip that. Anyway, we stab them and continue.
Now, we need to head back past the police station. We gotta make sure not to enter that hiding place again as it's unnecessary. After heading south-west and passing an uncountable amount of bushes, we find a parked motorhome. In the back of said motorhome are 2 boys. After stabbing them both, we find another boy in the driver's seat.
After watching the motorhome burn, we go east, where we find a barn. We enter this barn to find 4 more boys hiding. It took a fair bit of RNG manipulation, but I was able to stab all 4 of them without wasting any time. After climbing a ladder, we find another boy in the loft of the barn to stab.
That boy's body gets hung out the top of the barn, and we walk past it like nothing happened. Going east once again, we find a cabin and a shed. We stab open the shed and go through a couple of doors to find 3 girls inside. After stabbing those 3 and heading further east, we find another girl.
Once we stab her, we chuck her body out of the shed, and - once again - we walk past like nothing happened. After heading north-east, we discover a graveyard with 3 boys lurking in it. Strangely, we don't have to kill any of them to win the game, so those guys become the only 3 survivors. Instead, we enter a mineshaft and discover a lake on the other side. After swimming through the lake a bit, we find a boy and a girl sitting on a boat. We stab the boat from below and the two of them die.
And that's the end of the game! OR IS IT?
Bonus Level:
First we head east to find 3 boys outside of the cabin. We stab the 3 boys and then enter said cabin. With a little RNG manipulation, I found a way to kill all 3 at the same time in 2 seconds, given that the stab animation takes 40 frames to play (40x3=120).
Near the entrance of the cabin, we find a boy lighting a fire. We stab him and head further east.
In the next room, we find 2 more boys near a staircase. Stab them, go further east, you know the drill.
In the room after that, we find a boy looking in the mirror. We stab him and then the mirror somehow breaks even though we didn't even touch it.
At the edge of the cabin is a lounge with 4 boys chilling in there. This took a considerable amount of RNG manipulation, but in the end I was able to find a pattern that was good enough for me.
After that, we head back west and climb the staircase. Then, we find 2 doors. We enter the 1st door and find a girl vibing to some tunes. We stab her and leave the room.
Then we enter the 2nd door. The final room of the game. This door leads to the balcony, where we find a boy smoking a cigarette. (Not advised.) After stabbing him, the game is officially over.
And That's It!
Thanks for reading. If you find any improvements, please e-mail me on the TASVideos website.
...but what happened to the 3 survivors?

Sadly, like we can see in this userfile by Spikestuff, this movie is unoptimized and eazily optimisable and thus cannot be accepted.

LogansGamingRoom, please reply to Post #525772.
