Hello i am back with another Mortal Kombat Deception TAS.
TAS Main Goal: Beating Aracde Mode Fast as Possible!
NOTE: i removed the Hara-Kiri glitch and i improved 5 fights
So first tas the best character for beating Arcade Mode Fast is Ashrah mostly because she got the most damaging combos.
Pause Glitch
if any of you saw my previous tases on here or on my channel you would already know about the pause glitch but ill still explain it. So the way Pause Glitch works is when you about to hit enemy at a certain timing and you pause and the glitch allows you to Move around during the round so it can help get to deathtraps and others good angles in the environment.
Ashrah Vs Lei-Mei
Using the most damaging Combo and you see the Pause GLitch the very First Time
Ashrah Vs Kobra Same thing like the other one.
Ashrah Vs Mileena Improved
For this Fight i take advantage of the pause cancel while getting to death trap while the camera is still moving
all just skip to the part where its important.
Ashrah Vs Jade Improved
i removed the Hara-Kiri Glitch and got done with the fight very Fast
Ashrah Vs Baraka Improved
So in this fight, you will see Pause Glitch, you will see the way i use my angle to get to the glass environment for extra Damage and thats how i got 105% Combo
Ashrah Vs Noob-Saibot Improved
Using the Same Combo and getdone with Fight Quicker!
Ashrah Vs Onaga Improved
Alright now the Main plan of this fight is to lure Onaga to the Kamidogu which is stunts, as you can see, i tend to move him a bit and do a big combo so I can lure him to another Kamidogou that way he get stunned again and for more damage.
The only Improvement is that i need Better Stages like, Golden Desert, The Nexus, and Kutan Palace but i need to unlock them during Konquest Mode.
Now im going to break for while from tasing once i submit this TAS!

arkiandruski: Claiming for judging.
arkiandruski: Everything looks good. Accepting to Standard. In case this needs to be addressed: using RTA timing, the run is roughly 7:20. (5:50 - 6:00 with load times removed).

despoa: Processing...

The Harakiri moment wasn't fast enough and it didn't look that entertaining, so the speed/entertainment trade-off here is questionable. Still, the TAS was pretty watchable and relatively fun. Yes vote.
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

I was entertained by the TAS, so I voted "yes", but I agree that those speed/entertainment tradeoffs are questionable for an Arcade run. For fighting games, I want pure speed categories with no regards for entertainment and separate playaround categories to show off the game.
Current project: Gex 3 any% Paused: Gex 64 any% There are no N64 emulators. Just SM64 emulators with hacky support for all the other games.

i always question myself if this an arcade playaround tas or this is arcade speedrun but I also think i should remove the glitches so that way it can focus on being fast Lol also i think should do a playaround tas next time and save it for next time and also thank you for watching my tases especially the armageddon one!

I have doubts you will obsolete Akheon's playaround movie. With the lack of user feedback nowadays, it's gonna be debatable if your entertainment value will be considered higher than his. On the other hand, the judges may implement extra tiers, like "playaround, volume 2". You'd better ask them out.

Hey, i made some Improvements on the Aracde TAS and i removed the Hara-Kiri Glitch! Well im pretty sure that i can make my MKD play around more entertaining but the only thing is missing from playaround tases is the blank move glitch because i wasn't really sure how to do it properly but i do got other glitches in mind while making them

I have a question about the Jade fight. When you go through the transition from a higher to lower floor, a cutscene plays. I would think you could use the time the cutscene takes to beat her up more. Is there a reason doing the transition is faster?

In my old TAS i didnt find a solution for this problem of stages with transition at first. Then i realized stage transitions are avoided by not being at the center of the stage, you cant transition if you juggle the enemy at some proximity to the wall: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQq-dC5Ytvs&t=262s&ab_channel=KusogeMan example of doing it right in : https://youtu.be/VQq-dC5Ytvs?t=269 example of doing it wrong in: https://youtu.be/VQq-dC5Ytvs?t=112 I should have positioned the enemy back again against the corner so the juggle wouldn't start the floor transition. I also believe it would be better if Arcade mode TAS would be done with a savefile, so we could have better stage selection and then maybe use ashrah or Liu Kang, as done in my TAS or SJ's Ashrah TAS: Link to video
I want all good TAS inside TASvideos, it's my motto. TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.

So it's not that it saves time, but it's really difficult to avoid. Am I getting that right?

It probably could be avoided without losing significant time, just would take some planning and a little luck in terms of not having breakers to ruin the rest of the match. It would save a few seconds but nothing too major.

i used the stage transition in the jade fight because it will still count as a combo even if i hit her with a stage transition also once the stage transition is done when jade is about to get up i quickly used a attack that extends extra combo damage.
