Some movies are longer than half an hour or even a whole hour in this site. So for long movie makers, I suggest, savestates should be made for viewers. It's good for analysis, viewing, and comments towards the movies. One doesn't have to submit it with movie files. But at least they may offer savestates to us by a link such as www.filespace.org. (geocities is unavailable in some areas.) Is not too difficult for the movie makers, right?

The movie file format should natively support this. The Zsnes format will be once it's ready for proper use (it will also support sub-titles).

I also mean links like geocities are often not available to someone. I suggest player who tries to offer his test run or savestates not upload to it. Put it on www.filespace.org as much as possible.

In a new version of the submission manager (worktitled "Project manager", contrasting to the old name "Queue manager"), this could be one good idea to have. There are a few goals I'm aiming for: - Possibility to post incomplete movies - More than one text box. -- Incorporating something that has previously been done in the forums and by editing the submission text - that is, movie commenting. - Adding other type of attachments besides movie files (savestates, screenshots, maps?) -- Because I don't have too much bandwidth to spare, there are going to be some limits - Updating/deleting/adding attachments -- Changelog of file and status updates - Automatically calculating more information from the movie file, besides the rerecord count, system and length -- For example, in the case of snes9x, WIP/upanddown etc flags - Preview before posting - More status handling: add status "in progress" I'm currently rewriting some internal portions of the website engine, and I haven't yet actually begun writing this project manager (except for the database plans).
