Sync Info
In order to get this game to run, you'll need to acquire the ISO, then extract it using 7zip then place the folder into the games folder in ScummVM. Launch ScummVM within libTAS without a movie running (make sure "Prevent Writing to Disk" is disabled), then on the pop up window do "Add Game", select the game folder then press "choose", then click on the option that says the full game name, then click "choose". you should see "pajama-win" as the ID, make sure to note that down, then click "ok", and close out of the window.
Now the game should be loaded, simply put "pajama-win" into the command line and the game should run.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The run may desync at first due to different RNG, but in my testing the movie will sync every other try, so it shouldn't be a big deal.
Just make sure the path is clear in the area with the wishing well, if it's blocked the run will likely desync.
I don't really have anything to say other than this was a favorite of mine as a kid.
slamo: Claiming for judging.
slamo: The route and optimization looks good to me, and I like seeing an old Humongous game get submitted, hopefully we see more of them. Accepting!
Note about the platform: the game has an
official Linux release, and our policy about ScummVM games is that we label whatever has been officially ported over to Linux. The GoG release has identical data files to the ones used in this movie. It does use ScummVM 2.0.0, but there have been no
relevant changes to this game since then, so I can't consider it different enough from the official port. So, I'll change the platform to Linux and we'll consider this an official game.
Subnote: It appears that there are 4 blank frames of input at the end of the movie, but these are actually necessary for the ending to happen. Also, the movie syncs about 50% of the time, so if it desyncs just try again.
