You know we used to do 4k encoding, before 1080p60fps was a thing, this is very, very old news.

I wonder who loves sharp square pixels so much he looks at them at 2160p fullscreen every time. No, seriously.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Yeah. Any perversion one can imagine as the most bizzare already occupies someone.

I still remember when I made a joke post about being progressive and embracing the new full-HD fad, by making all our videos 1080p. Back then it was a joke. I didn't actually expect it to become a reality.

I really only see it benefiting the custom resolution category (and I can't physically or logically run anything higher than 1080p anyway); frankly 720p 60fps is all I'd need for the others.

Non-integer upscaling makes absolutely no sense and you should really think about why we upscale them in the first place.
Warning: Might glitch to credits I will finish this ACE soon as possible (or will I?)
