Wait.. You got this the other method has the potential to be faster if fully optimized. out of this? The new lost penguin strat is exactly the same frame count wise, but I'm convinced its slightly slower overall. What language am I speaking? Also, wouldn't the "could be optimized more" rule be applicable to both methods?
He's saying that if the other method and this new method were both absolutely perfectly optimized, the older method would be faster.
What's a man like me supposed to do with all this extra savoir-faire?

Well, I would think that the new strategy has more potential to be optimized than one that has been used several times.

Here is a glitch I found a few months back. I'm almost postive it's worthless, but I'll post it just in case someone can make something of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0ltzJX1S9Q

You can do the same things with other pillars using Mips (you don't need to do the rump jump either), it's quite easy. Probably it's still worthless though.

Already found it a while ago, but don't hesitate to show things if you're unsure! we may not know it and it may be the key to 1 star runs.

I hate to be a bother, but would somebody mind posting the most recent WIP not in a different compression than .rar? winrar just bothers me and i don't have installed on this computer. It would be very much appreciated, if possible.

Laughing_gas, do you have to question everyone? Besides, his reasons are in his post:

Many other archivers can decompress RAR archives. It's up to the author of a WIP, though.

I think that if the author can be arsed to, you know, be an author, then someone who wants to see what's going on can expend a little effort and get a generic decompressor like ace, winrar, 7zip or anything that can read the files Rikku is nice enough to post. Something that is "bothering" is NEVER a good reason to ask other people to do something for you.

7-Zip will work on .Rar files. It works on anything!

Exactly my point there. It's like someone on SDA asking someone else to upload a run on youtube because divx "bothers" them.

you don't have to do anything differently really, I like the savestates being uploaded with the m64, I was just telling jammer01 what he could use to unrar :)
