Careful, if you keep it up you'll all get Guanno-bowled. (I'm soooo funny) Oh and about the run, great job so far. I can't tell you how glad I am that someone is just doing this game instead of merely talking about it on and on.

Here's my best ever completion time of Kokiri Forest. I don't know what I do that would be much different from Guamo, but here's my tactics for Kokiri Forest. From gaining control to activating Hyrule scene I took roughly 16:50. This also shows how feeble humans are compared to TAS runners. Sorry about the quality it was a heavilly compressed file. http://files.filefront.com/zelda_beta_run1avi/;5045393;;/fileinfo.html
The movie has some green stripes on it. Does this happens just with me?

No, i think that whatever he used to compress it, added those to it. Anyway, I was really confused at first that the text in some places was changed and such. This is the GameCube version, right? I never saw the GC version, so i never thought that they would change the text for it. I might try replaying OOT when Wii comes out :). That would be interesting with the remote control controller. Hehe.

Ganon's Castle early is NOT possible right now. So until further notice, stick with the route I put together and the run will look great. :) I keep up with the discussion over at SDA daily, so if any new tricks pop up I'll be sure to update them. But right now GC early doesn't look too possible.

from the looks of that its only possible to get light arrows on b via cheating. not to mention if you dont have the sword, how are you supposed to hurt ganon?

Hey, i just found this out the other day. I dont know if it was discovered already, but im just throwing it out there. When you walk backwards with sword, talk to an npc. When you sheath your sword, you stumble backwards into who you are talking to. I have a demo of this for me going into Mido. Lol. You guys think there is a way to exploit this? I got an idea just now i think im going to try. http://s54.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2E5AV4ORRITO43MPGD0GDTMKVL

Atma: its no cheating. Its a legal glitch. you would need megatonhammer for ganon

After beating Ganondorf is it possible to replace B with the master sword. Anyway, How do you reverse the effects of the bottle adventure anyway?

No, I mean according to that list of values nothing you equip will give you light arrows on B. Megaton hammer would mean doing like half of the fire temple, and I doubt that'd be a fun choice.

Deku Nuts works on Ganon, but you would still need the megaton hammer/sword to do the Ganon's Tower skip.

By the way, the three Deku sticks are to be rationed as follows: 1. ST - Iron Knuckle (Jumping stick attack followed by 7 crouching stabs) 2. DC - Boss (Jumping stick attack on first cycle and crouch stab on second) 3. JJ - Boss (Jumping stick attack on last phase followed by crouching stabs)

1. Already being done, but worth saying anyway 2. Yes if we can preserve the shield, which shouldn't be hard for TAS 3. What do you mean, you can only attack once in each stage Does bomerang cancel out the damage crounch stab does?

There you go, sir. :-P. http://beta.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=2B2983097EB58C18 Edit: Also, can someone explain to me how to ground jump? I cant understand how to do it. From the vids ive seen on doing it, you have to sheath the sword while Z targeting while holding the shield out, which isnt possible... Can someone explain? Edit2: Oh, i see. The 'grab' command overrides the sword... ah, i guess you have to do it with an object in front of you then. What button do you press to 'jump' then while z-targeting afterwards? Edit3: Ah, okay, you press back and a then. I got it now. :)

If it's faster to get the Giant's Knife, you can use that instead of the megaton hammer on Ganon. Depends on whether or not 10 Gold Skulltulas + 200 rupee is > Most of the Fire Temple.

Hah, I was thinking about the Giant's Knife earlier today, but I couldn't remember all the requirements for it. 10 Golden Skulltulas for the wallet? That doesn't sound TOO bad...
