I was thinking you might be able to megaflip to get over the boss door by throwing a bomb into the vertical tunnel, have it bounce around in there while you do your roll.

Awesome! Does the game crash after Link steps into the light? I know it crashes when young Link clears the Shadow Temple.

Nopers. I think Adult Link can clear all child stuff (not sure about JJB) but child Link can only get through the Water and Spirit Temple cut scenes.

hmm, no new tricks I have no idea, if mitjitsu and co finally started the OoT any% TAS, but I'm sure they will do so soon, if they haven't done that yet.

Hello, i have followed OoT TAS'es a while now, but this Awesome TAS you MrGrunz and others are working on - is there any release date yet? I don't have the patience to look through 270 pages...

You don't have to look all that far back to realize that they don't have a goddamn clue about when or even whether they'll get finished. Perhaps you would like to learn the secrets of the Shaolin Supersliding Reverse Bottle Adventure Masters to help them along so that maybe the run will be released before the successor to the Wii.

MrGrunz, is there any chance you'll do a low% OoT run after you've finished your MM one? I'd be more excited to see that than an improved any% run, and you seem very familiar with the route and tricks involved. I realize the MM one won't be finished anytime soon, just asking.

I imagine once progress is started it would take somewhere between 4-10 weeks to finish.

4-10 weeks from a complete restart? That's absolutely nuts, isn't it?

seriously, 10 weeks? that's a joke isn't it? no way you could optimize a 50-55 minutes TAS within that short amount of time

That statement would be true if it was 50-55 mins of complex gameplay, but with cutscenes, text and some trivial parts in the AL section, you're probably talking about 20-25 mins. That said there is 4-5 sections that I'm dreading.

Yeah but still. You are very optimistic and might not have considered that I have a few ideas for you guys and my ideas are always hard to do. Just ask Grunz. XD And Grunz will probably see to it that you have to use bombs a shitton, once you have them. He has an eye for places where you can save a few frames with a bomb, through his TASing of MM. But why don't you guys start already, if it can be done in such a timely fashion? The route has been solid for a while now. People are starting to suspect that you can only talk. Come on prove them wrong! :D

Hmm negative reinforcement doesn't work? Ok let's try positiv reinforcement. You each get a cookie once this is finished!
