Some context about the game, the tricks you're using, and why you're doing certain things would be helpful for feedback purposes.
How much time does the first flying dog thingsave? Because there's a decently long animation and you're not on it for very long, for instance.

Stage 2-4 was TOUGH as nails to optimize.
First, the route, i fucked up somewhere and i got to redo that section. Then it was the damage management.
And then there is Brain Freezer. This guy can be manipulatable thanks to Johnny X's Tornado Hands, this allows me to make the boss attack much faster and I'm able to hit him a little bit earlier than usual, of course, taking damage in this stage is fully intentional.
OH BOY STAGE 3 WILL BE FUN.

Considering this:
-When I fall at the first room, air jumping will let you fall without landing early, nor it's platform dropping the best choice.
-I can't quite make some jumps, like in the second room with the green platforms. The second green platform doesn't let me jump to the falling blocks since its physics are different from solid ground. Neither I can't make the jump to the platform moving upwards.
-I abuse from stomping enemies to gain better height, this only works for the first jumps that Johnny performs.
-Without the moving red platforms, it's impossible to reach and enter the door.
-Since Brain Freezer's patterns are different each time he activates the shield, I can't quite duplicate my manipulation strategies, leaving me to do something different.
-The last use of my Tornado Hands is like that because that way I can actually hit the boss, since without the attack, the boss can't be hit on that closed space he's supposed to be in.
Well, 4 stages left... wish me good luck... hoping not Megaman levels of hard on this last levels!
Actually, I tried looking for them a couple of times, but to no avail. They change each AREA of a stage and the ones I found weren't useful at all, so I couln't find any position or speed ones.
1. That's what happened for games like Monster House as well, and it really helped refinding addresses every single floor no matter how annoying.
2. The RAM search is similar to Cheat Engine's in a way, so the tutorial that comes with that program will help you know the basics to this as well.
I literally gave you a step by step guide on how to find X/Y coordinates.
If they change for each area doing it properly gets more complicated. But you can just re-find them for each area which shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes.
So sliding in this game is only faster when starting a level/after entering a new area. Looks like Megaman strats aren't present in this crappy game.
Thank you jlun2 for your feedback.

Done area 1 of stage 3-1. Sliding is useful only to reach higher places, which will be used for a small skip for area 2 on the same stage.

2nd area done, the sliding was much more useful than I thought.
I managed to slide jump 3 times, which led me to achieve 2 skips, one with the closed blue section, and the other one with the upwards moving platform.
EDIT: Also, favorite frame of this run so far...
Some movements are not smooth. In about 34 seconds, you jump but miss platform. This happens again at 42 seconds on the platform moving up, you are jumping and miss again. Then at 1:45, you jump but miss the edge, resulting in that hit the wall and fall. These looks sloppy, even if it wasted no time.
I'm trying to play now. You can save 2 frames at start from at level 1 by jumping instantly. Not big, but, notable.
They are not good stylistic choices.
It’s not. You stated it as if it were fact. If you just want to state it as your opinion, you have to make it clear.
Losing 2 frames at the start because of not jumping is lol. Something that should be easily noticeable when you have X/Y coordinate addresses.

I already tested this and I assure you it's the other way around. Starting with a jump is 2 frames SLOWER than just start walking. I have no idea of what you're smoking Gay but this is in fact, NOT true.

Well excuuuuuuuse me, princess. I'm not good to entertain on waiting sections, but since it wastes absolutely NO time at all, the fact that you bring that up makes me feel funny inside.

Please do not lie. It is only 2 frames, after all.
Could you please add more details regarding this? At what frame? At what instance? What version of DesmuME you're using? Is this the truth? Can you bring more proof by adding screen shots at the time you jump?
I put up the dsm. And really, I don't know what I can say. Your runs have a history of having mediocre to average levels of optimization. And then try to lie out of it. When are you going to learn? It seems every movie you're doing has great errors. I think you are needing some practice.
I won't TAS any more of this game, but I think you should be more careful next time. I am not best TASer, I have only done it for some months, but I do not rush.

Woah, hold up. He is not a lazy TASer, as shown by his contributions to Coca-Cola Kid, and the level of optimization he put into Pokemon Platinum. Don't automatically assume he sucks at optimization because he missed one thing.
effort on the first draft means less effort on any draft thereafter
