Enemy control: Hmmm... hard to say. It depend every actions/movent/time in game.
Counter Attack: when counter acttack (red flash), it'll make high damage and enemy will get little stun for me make combos
Speed/Entertaiment trade off: I have sacrifice little speed for change every ring out style
Taki isn't best character for beat game in fastest time. But I made this for gift to a my friend, the one teach me play this game, Taki is his main character played :D
This run I have main target to speed and mixed entertaiment. That's why I was optimized alot my actions
Fireball at 2:38 just single attack, not a combo. Yep, this game hard to see it's combo or not, just players have exp in this game can know. This game not care you must use exactly what actions for combo, if you can hit to enemy more than a hit, then it's combo :D
All my actions was optimized all I can do. Maybe sometines you saw I standing a little, its reason I must wait time I can attack, if do too soon enemy can block or counter hit (like I do at 01:56)
Just at last hits for make ring out, yep, I have change many actions for look not too bored. And I didn't repeat actions in every round too
Edit: if all you there see this don't' have enough enterment then I'll remake Taki with terrible tactic for max speed. Yep, with max speed it'll don't have any entertaiment...
I don't know where you're getting this idea from. I think everyone agrees with you that this would be more boring if you blitzed it, and you want to do things the entertaining way, so just ditch the speed goal. Then you can complete it at whatever pace you want, show off more interesting things, and it'll probably get published since it seems like you know what you're doing.
because with me and my friends played figthing games think perrty much about this game: with the games don't have too much combos like this games, don't have ton glitchs like MK series, then watch how to beat enemy with smart ways are very entertaiment...
Taki have 4-5 good combos can use, it'll very boring if alway repeat them. This game is just a fighting-intellectual category. The game core is player must choice up or down while attack or defend, then just single hack or slash is enough
In summary, if this run don't have enogh entertaiment then I'll cancel and remake Taki with max speed. I feel sad my mind don't same you there, but I'll follow TAS rules...

Okay, I'll give the meh.
This is actually a fast run, using only ring outs.
Well... besides that one perfect run fight.
Other than that it's nearly optimized and it can possibly still be improved upon.
But this can make it to vault with GBA Tekken.

You should either go for pure speed or pure entertainment - anything in between is a bit disappointing.
Also, while fighting game speed TASes are disliked by many, they are still a legit run category. So if you know you can make a purely faster TAS of this game, go for it.
I liked the run and the silly ring outs. While sub-optimal (or so I hear), this could already be good enough to be Vaulted at least.
There are only two published fighting game TASes that I can think of, where the goal is something between entertainment and speed and it actually works: The two SSB publications. But only very few games allow for this kind of thing, most of the time you either do a spectacular playaround or a boring, but vaultable speedrun.
Current project: Gex 3 any%
Paused: Gex 64 any%
There are no N64 emulators. Just SM64 emulators with hacky support for all the other games.

Looking at the votes I can't expect it to become a moon. Most likely the one without tradeoffs and with optimal character will be happily vaulted (if done well).
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.
