Despite being very old, these movies do not seem to bemuch beatable. However, while watching no damage tas of Jackie chan action kung fu, I got an idea. What about making Jackie Chan action Kung fu pacifist run? I would dare to try that if people would find it interesting. What do you think?

Those glitches seem to be cartridge related. Stupid Russian glitched cartridges) I have many with glitches, non present in actual roms.

Upthorn’s Sonic 3 and Knuckles 100% TAS is certainly very improveable (maybe by minutes — I would not be surprised if so), but it needs a lot of work (I am not going to take it).
S3&A [Amy amy%] improvement (with Evil_3D & kaan55) — currently in SPZ2 my TAS channel · If I ever come into your dream, I’ll be riding an eggship :)

For me TASing sometimes starts from trying out some obscure game, then glitching it a bit, then noticing it has some very big programming flaws that might be fun to see in action. My Xena: The Warrior Princess and Robocop for GBC TASes both got started this way. Cheap license-based games seem to be good for this purpose... In some respects it's easier to pick up a game no one else has tried yet, in some respects harder. The most important thing is that you yourself consider it a good game choice and have fun doing the researching / TASing.

Nice tips. At the moment i am doing pacifist on [NES]jackie chan action kung fu. Its pretty interesting to TAS, and partially easy at the same (you can't use special abilities because you would need to kill frogs, so you don't need to think HOW to use them). At the same time there is enough optimisation thinking - its not possible just walk by past some enemies and you have 5 HP to spend, so you need to experiment which enemies are faster to avoid.

[1040] NES Panic Restaurant by Aglar in 13:29.17 should be easy to improve upon as it's made using prehistoric tools. I can provide some resources if you're interested.
Never tased before, but just downloaded fceux and played around with the tas editor for 2-3 hours. By actually copying your first ~660 input frames (never came close there in the menues) i played though to the first door. I'm there at 2070 frames, 4 in front of that run. Also i collected 3 less coins.

I tried that already, but failed miserably.
