Okay since I made you both loss (by accident) I know about NTSC-U and NTSC-J (I usually call US, NTSC and Jap, Jap instead of NTSC-J(for now I'll type NTSC-U and NTSC-J)).
Crash Bandicoot for any% is a major change between Pal&NTSC-U compared to the NTSC-J version, now besides the obvious level switch (Sunset Vista swaps with Slippery Climb in the Japanese version), the important gem (Green Gem) for any%ing this game, the location of it in the Japanese version is in Hog Wild and for the PAL&NTSC-U version it's in The Lost City (This is a massive advantage for the NTSC-J version).
That's what I was trying to type out.
Also if you didn't get it with the box count and why I have 2 different regions in my signature is that in the
NTSC-U and PAL version (Mukki's tas used as an example) of Crash Bandicoot this is what happens and in
the Japanese version (Pirohiko's tas wip used in this example) this is what happens in it. Pay attention to both box counters and you'll understand what I mean by having 2 different types of Crash 1 any% tas runs.
Also I think Crash Prototype (Demo of Crash 1; complete game of it before final (
Has a ton of differences) would be a good one to tas too since we do have a demo game by SwordlessLink up eXtreme Wakeboarding (I think it was).
