Basically, what he's saying is that Hourglass does not have mouse support yet. The "issues page" is a list of problems that need to be fixed; the fact that "add mouse support" is on that page means that there's no mouse support yet.

This guy did a TAS of Vechs' Infernal Sky 2 and Spellbound Caves using a Minecraft mod which allows TAS-like savestates/slowdown.

It was oddly quite fun to watch that Infernal Sky. Although it must have been a awkward piece of heck without frame-advance.

MEGA NECROBUMP, but if we ever want to TAS Minecraft, we have to go to the version before 1.3 because in versions starting from that one, any singleplayer game is SMP-dependent so that means these things: -Latency issues in where the client isn't sent the server packets which in example, it makes instant farming of snowballs tedious -More CPU usage because the client is getting packets, rendering, operating the integrated server and sending packets This is unlike the past versions in which the client only renders and operates the game in it's own code. It's better if we use 1.2.5 instead.

I see someone already linked DrJecko's TAS. I personally like this guy's TAS better. Infernal Sky II Ragequit Hollidays Catching Fire Nightmare Realms I really enjoy these Minecraft TAS. I wish there could be more of them. Edit: I don't wanna advertise my videos, so I'll just say here. I found out a way to do a minecraft TAS. Imperfect, but tool-assisted, nonetheless. You just need to get cheat engine 6.4, click on the computer icon and choose minecraft. Then go to settings and hotkeys and assign speedhacks to whatever key you prefer. Tell me if these instructions aren't very clear. Sorry!

As linked earlier, a few TASes of Minecraft custom maps have been made, notably by alexANDgame, and his TASes, while only made with slowdown and savestates, are really sick. Link to video These TASes are done with a slowdown mod and using world snapshots as savestates.

Looks great, but the music was unnecessary.
Current project: Gex 3 any% Paused: Gex 64 any% There are no N64 emulators. Just SM64 emulators with hacky support for all the other games.

I think use of the Minecraft TAS tools mean that there's no in-game sound to use (judging by the fact that I've never seen such a video that wasn't dubbed over with other music), so you have to put SOMETHING there. And Super Meat Boy music works as well as anything else.

Minecraft runs in libTAS! ...kinda. I've been messing around with getting 1.6.4 to run for a glitchless run and I was able to create a world with clock_gettime() for the secondary thread. This makes the game run at a very strange framerate which makes actually playing the game difficult (and not really viable for TASing). gettimeofday() seems promising as well as it does render a frame of the background picture (instead of the black/white gradient from other time options), but I haven't been able to get past this. There also seems to be an issue where the game cannot be unpaused after creating a world which seems to indicate the game thinks it isn't focused. If anyone wants to try this for themselves, you need to have Minecraft open and find the java command used to run it. Then look for "-Djava.library.path" in the command arguments, and copy the folder specified to a new location that won't be automatically removed and change the command to point to your new directory. You should now be able to plop this command into libTAS and have the game run, although I recommend changing the instances of ".minecraft" to a new directory so you don't interfere with existing save data.

Interesting. There exist some interesting maps like space invaders with Minecraft. As well as some interesting mods. Those will probably stand out the most.
