A group of friends and I were playing this game and noticed it picks up wrong answers as correct ones. We put ozzy osbourne and it gave us credit for george burnes. we put tongue, and it gave us credit for toe. A thought crossed my mind that something like the brain age TAS could be done with this game with things like that. Though it's just an idea, I don't think it's worth the effort for someone to actually do it though, unless theres an easy way to know how the game interprets your responses.

The SNES beatcha to it, and what a fine TAS it was.

Though there is already a SNES version that knows how to interpret the answers, ... I really would watch a "Family Feud 2 - Now on Mega Drive" version, if (and that's a big if) the TASer can elaborate all new phrases and still be as funny as the 1st one ... ... it has to be like the movie Terminator 2, which is a sequel, and better than the first movie =P

It's really simple as far as I can see it TOnguE, BoURNE(S), ... I think you can add any letter in between the right letters, add some spelling mistakes, and forget some letters. And I think that it is sufficient to give just one word of the right answer, though I won't test that. I would recommend to test each variation of it individually. Afterwards you can think about giving strange and funny answers...

The SNES TAS includes a description of what the game looks for in an answer. IIRC it's basically that it expects a series of letters (e.g. MNKY for "monkey") and if your answer has those letters in the right order, regardless of what else is in there, then it'll be accepted (e.g. "MaNly KeYboard").
