you knw in SMW when you go to star road, beat all that and go into the middle star. You go to the black "special" land with level names: Gnarly, Tubular, Way Cool ect... What happens after that? I don't remember and I want to know now rather than after I beat them all.

Do you really not know how to look things up for yourself? I've noticed that pretty much every topic you've posted is a question. Well, anyway, beating those 8 changes the graphics around a bit. Gives the levels a sort of autumn, halloween theme.

Also, the Koopas now look like Mario. Their shells are like masks. I believe the credits will read "Mask Koopas."

It's the GBA version where you have to complete all of the levels.

Asking people who know, is the same as looking things up for myself. I could either go scour the internet, or I can ask this forum. Searching for the answer would have probably taken alot longer then asking people here and I know for a fact that somone will know. Also if you think my questions are stupid or something, then you don't need to read or reply to them. Masked Koopas huh. Well I will need to check that out.

Yes, Mask Koopas. And I've noticed that some Koopas change their colour. There are a lot more blue ones after beating the special levels than there were before. Now that I think of it, I can't remember really seeing green Mask Koopas. So perhaps the green ones turn into blue ones?

The difference is, when you go searching, you waste only your time. When ask people, you waste everyone's time. Sorry to put it this bluntly.

Green Koopas become yellow, and red ones become blue. This applies to all the Koopas who are already in shells.

No one forces any of you to enter this thread and "have your time wasted." Many people here are very helpful and don't mind giving me 15 seconds of thier time to answer a question and I only ask those people to help me. If you see a question post and think "oh great another waste of time from 12motion" then don't click on it. not that I am trying to start a fight with the mod or anything. But I really don't think asking questions in the off topic forum should be as big of a deal as people are making it out to be.

This argument has some flaws. 1) You assume each reader knows what your post is about before reading it. 2) You assume signal noise does not matter. 3) You assume that since people are polite enough to answer your questions, help is free and should be taken advantage of as much as possible. I'm concerned about your attitude. If a shop has a free coffee serving, it doesn't mean you can take your vacuum jug there and fill it with free coffee. Similar is with your "since I can ask here why should I go searching for answers myself".

Not the take sides here, but it took you 1:30 to get your answer on these forums. In the time it probably took you to come to the forums and write out this topic, you could have opened up GameFAQs, searched 'Super Mario World', and clicked on "Codes/Secrets". This is, of course, assuming that you took 22 seconds or longer to type out your topic and get your response (and yes, I did time it). Google and GameFAQs are an awesome combination. Just a hunch though. You can all go back to being aggro now.

We're not saying that you can't ask questions though. If you search for a bit, and can't find the answer, then go ahead and ask it here. Also, remember that it is usally easier to ask your question in topics already dedicated to a game. For instance, there is already a SMW thread, a castlevania thread, etc...

Also, you could always hop into the IRC room when you have questions. There is always someone in there.
