:) you can always use the handy beat slicer and rearrange someone else's beats. I find the beat slicer to be very handy when I want a particular sound from the percussion that may have been used in a another song. I just love how much shit you can do with fruity loops and all those wonderful plugins and features.

Congrats on this monumental accomplishment! Can't wait for the 0 star run and beyond! Its like you pulled out a Mario 64 cartridge and dropped a nuclear bomb on it. I love breakage!

Sorry it took this long to comment but following the WIPs and watching this masterpiece come together was a real treat. Congratulations on getting this done quickly despite some of the extra hard luck manipulation and this game's "hostility" towards hex editing. :) i love how you kill the last piece of Malkil with the dagger while running towards the exit. Most impressive all around Cardboard (and rick for his route planning)! P.S. I'm glad I was able to contribute, although it was small contribution.

I must applaud you JXQ. I am a fellow Fruity Loops user. I've been using it since version 1.76 and I don't make shit half this good! Mostly I just write beats and silly ass stuff. I've recently gotten into making mashups (remixes) and learning to scratch with the FL Scratcher. Who needs turntables and a mixer as long as you've got an "m" key and a mouse? Along with the excellent production you had a really nice flow. Its definitely something i can dig on.

I couldn't find something similar when i searched the forum index but I was curious as to how all the members discovered TASvideos. My journey towards hitting this site began with a speedrun of SMB 3 someone sent me which was rather impressive. Immediately I hopped on google searching for more NES speedruns which led me to Arc's page which had some really cool shit on it. Some of these runs were labeled as being on Bisqwit's site and then BAM! There I was on bisqwit.iki.fi/nesvideos/ (now TASvideos) and the rest is history.

faster AND very entertaining! I really like the new luck manipulation for awesome item drops and the high tempo scoring. I've always loved this game and the runs keep getting better. bravo fellas! and, duh, i voted yes.

Chamale....I'm sorry but I can tell you right now this will most likely be rejected because of a SERIOUS lack of entertainment and skill. Sure, the luck manipulation might take you some time but IMO sitting there and watching nothing but scores being generated one after another just doesn't cut the mustard. While it may seem funny to you, I don't think people will take the run seriously. Again this is just my opinion...

Voting yes....its an improvement on the previous submission of a game that was extremely cool to me as a young lad and it had a sense of humor to it. IMO i think people are taking that part of the movie way too seriously. I mean its not like there's explicit evidence of penetration or anything of that nature therefore it is not indecent unless you want it to be. Good Job FODA. edit: By saying indecent I am referring to sexual acts in general, not the specific acts being sited in this run. I just wanted to clarify this before someone gets the wrong idea.

sorry it took so long but i found the answer. Volume 26 (July 1991) on page 85 features the "How do I rig the money making game?" tip AND the game counselor profile of Bruce M. White who claims his greatest achievement was beating Zelda without a sword...

hey Hanzou, I remember the two items in question! Right now I'm digging through the internet trying to find the answer....unfortunately I pitched my entire Nintendo Power collection (first issue through the Metal Storm issue) a few years ago or else i'd be lookin through them right now. hopefully i'll come up with something...

as it has been stated by previous posters this run gets my vote as a concept demo only. I would like to congratulate you both on your effort because this was no easy task by any means! (raises a fist for angerfist and baxter)

w i think i performed that "wrong way door glitch" when using the game genie codes down in tourian on the door at the bottom of the second vertical shaft which is what led me to ask you if it was possible to glitch smaus into missle doors...but then again i'm not totally sure. Edit: also I'm not sure if what i did would be benneficial to a TAS either so i figure I'd leave it to the experts Edit 2: After watchin CtrlAltDestroys videos i'm not entirely sure i performed the glitch because the screen scrolled the right way but i ended up hidden from view on the other side of the screen and it took a lil bit of time for Samus to get back into the frame. On the other hand i performed it pretty much the same way by morphing into a ball and dropping into the door

This makes watching the Marble Zone not so boring...This run is most excellent for its use of Knuckles' abilities and the extra zipping is very tasty. what can i say i'm a sucker for zipping and glitching
