Geez, can't you people handle a little sarcasm?
It's not the sarcasm so much as the hyperbole that's been commented on.
The hyperbole was there to clue you in to the sarcasm.

"Altered Beast" is one of the most influential, famous, revolutionary games ever made, and as well-considered by 20-somethings as "Super Mario Brothers".
Feelings about the TAS aside, this cannot stand. Altered Beast is remembered by many, for sure, but as an overhyped piece of trash. It falls into the so bad-it's-sort-of-funny category, I'd never want to play it ever again. WIIIISE FWOM YO GWAAAAVE.

Absolutely hilarious. And please, children wouldn't even understand what FODA was trying to portray. If they have a dog they've no doubt seen the same thing rendered before them more vividly than two sprites from a crap Genesis game could ever hope to accomplish.

That Big Blue run was nothing short of spectacular. Completely ridiculous.

Well this one won't get as many downloads as the other Mario 64 runs, but the point has already been made that it will undoubtedly get more downloads than some of the more obscure NES games.

I'm not quite sure it's praise to say he savagely raped Samus.

I know that, I just wanted to know if he had indeed started working on it again. A bit over-eager I suppose.

I think the New Game+ category of this game should be open to any method people can find. Yes vote.

I played Jetpack on DOS, that's about it. I will say that the hyperspace music was fantastic the first 20 times I heard it.

Wait.. You got this the other method has the potential to be faster if fully optimized. out of this? The new lost penguin strat is exactly the same frame count wise, but I'm convinced its slightly slower overall. What language am I speaking? Also, wouldn't the "could be optimized more" rule be applicable to both methods?
He's saying that if the other method and this new method were both absolutely perfectly optimized, the older method would be faster.

Or perhaps he meant the other method has the potential to be faster if fully optimized.

- Aims for Entertainment
Seriously, this has been brought up multiple times in the thread.
That goal doesn't really make much sense to me sometimes, as most of the entertainment from these movies comes from the speed in which they were beaten.
