Here's another bug for the old Hourglass I remembered: Trying to bring up the menu in Bound Plus causes the game to freeze for a while then resume without bringing the menu. Also the title screen intro for said game goes by far too fast in Hourglass compared to the actual speed in game.
I think a pic of the player grabbing the coin case might work, since I think that item would never be used in a glitchless run. (unless I remember wrong)

It uses cheat codes anyways, so it won't get accepted regardless.
Speaking of which, I'm surprised even with the use of cheats it still takes 47+ minutes to get to the credits. :o
Now if only there was a way to skip tower of riddles like that as well....

Since I was wondering would that allow you to skip the first goomba fight.
For RNG, it was mentioned before that all floors are determined for the dungeon as soon as you enter, but not sure was it mentioned how manipulable it is.
Also I'm curious is it possible to get all the stair wells appear underneath you for the entire dungeon, or are they'll limits on how many times this can happen consecutively.
You know what could've been better? If you had used that position control thing during the boss battles to make it look like you're zooming all over the screen. ;)
I've currently gotten up to Hooktail's Castle where I am approximately 6000 frames faster (No, that is not a typo). This is because of the Shwonk Fortress skips. Much more progress will be made in the many months to come!

Start @ 1:36, redid two of the routes, gained less than a second on Stage 3(timer still ends at :59 though), and Stage 4 rings - gained a second.
Cant replicate how alec did the police chase so fast so I tried to improve it best I could. The Dark shadows done 4 seconds faster should compensate for it if anything.
Try asking alec how he did it.
Also at the first car section, what's with the 2nd car you pick up? :o

Sorry I took so long to reply. By using a glitch in Chapter 2, we skip a sequence cutscene. We complete most of Chapter 3 (this is when we get Yoshi) and then go back to Chapter 2. We trigger Chapter 2 and then re-enter Chapter 3. There's no goombella buffer lol...
What events does this trick skip and how much time in total saved?
