Yeah. I am going to do a speed run of this game, but not sure about a TAS, I have to think about two things.
    * If it is possible to make a TAS * Getting a ROM to an emulator * Finding a better emulator (better than WiiZip)
That is three things :(

I tried out aquaria's demo... meh. Ghish didn't have a demo, so no comments there. Have no interest in world of goo. Lugaru was kinda fun, but I had no clue how to attack other than click both mouse buttons at the same time. Really quick, though... almost dizzifying. Penumbra wasn't tried. If I had money, I would buy just because. I don't feel like getting it for free (or relatively cheap) so I won't. I bet you 10 bucks that this post didn't make any sense.

Do you find real life unfulfilling?
Nope. Engaged, getting good grades in my major, overall enjoying all forms of life.
Do you have a tendecy to avoid problems?
If I can get out of them, yeah. Otherwise I will suck it up and deal with the problem.
Do you look for ways of escaping from stressful situations?
When my Uncle died (3rd death in the family within 6 months) I played FFX for an unholy amount of time. It helped me deal with the loss. Otherwise, I just do things that relax me in between the stressful activities.
How long is the average speedrun?
42
Why do you speed run?
I don't. I just wanted to answer some questions and try to be more like the bossy man.
I'm currently doing a paper on video games and would like to gather from data.
I expect to see the mean, standard deviation and variance of the data you aquire.

I worded the question badly. Is there a 100% bonus for saving everyone, or are they just for power-up purposes? Does the level score increase, perhaps?

I haven't even finished the run and I have voted yes XD Do you get anything from saving all those fine, sexy ladybots / ugly fat manbots? Just curious.

Bobby's World was an old cartoon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby%27s_World This game was based on that cartoon.
Lol, Kyman is ~2 ;) Watching now.

Can we get some kind of heads up as to which version of the movie we are downloading? I can't tell which is R/B and which is grayscale.

I have to say, that was very boring. Although never having played the game, I can tell someone who has played the game would love seeing the shit beaten out of it. Boring as hell for me. An orgasm for veteran Skyroads players. Yes vote.

Going off Joe's comment, I would like to see a single monochrome movie published as the alternative. Having the two side by side is very distracting.

The biggest problem I have is the speed. The game seems to play very, very slowly. Seems like a cool game to play, but unless someone has some background with it, I don't see what would be entertaining about a full run. Nice random manipulation, though.

What is different with the Hard version?
Enemies take less damage, and your mercy invincibility is greatly shortened; bosses, and even some minor enemies, can juggle you from full health to dead in a matter of seconds. Damage boosting will therefore be lessened or nonexistent throughout the run. Also the default mega buster color scheme is green for some odd reason. :D
I vote for Normal instead of Hard, if this is the case. I agree, some of the taking damage times look really, really bad (I am looking at you, first level.) Will continue to watch and will edit this post once I have made a decision.

I am wondering if this game will have a large enough audience to be published. Frankly, I think the game is awfully dull and slow. Hearing that description of "the balloon bit" sends shivers down my spine. Unless there are some glitches to be found, I would probably vote no after viewing the first youtube WIP. Wanted to get my criticism out there so you could weigh the cons with the pros. I wish you luck on completing your first TAS. ;)

It is nice to see so many encoders. Thanks all ;P Will vote after watching. Edit: I can't say I was overly entertained (or entertained at all) but the technique seemed swell, and someone who has nostalgia for this game would probably enjoy it. I will go with a yes on this one. I also find it hilarious you rescued 2 black folk from all those crazy ass white people.

Nothing like pissing on my lol. You guys are real jerks. Edit: Holy shit! I had no clue that the Sonic 2 movie was that old! I thought it was obsoleted months/years ago.

Bwahahaha, Stanski beat this run by a full minute and a half single segment. Added to that, he ran down 15:22 IL time. And here I thought nitsuja was god ;(

I got the feeling that this could be improved. I will refrain from voting, but it just appeared that some of the movements were not optimal. I refrain from voting because I do not feel like watching the movie again and will not try to make improvements myself.
