I'd heard of this game before but it's the first time I've ever seen in played, now I'm noticing huge similarities to Earthworm Jim and wondering if there's any relation or if the same people worked on both games?

Hmmm... On that, I would assume that they are referring to "second playthrough" as it would be impossible to complete every stage by the 2nd round. Scenario 2, alone, takes multiple rounds to finish as its victory condition depends upon an A.I.-controlled Riana to race to the top of the map. No commander deaths sounds feasible, though.
Yes, it's second playthrough, not second turn. The same term (2周目) is used for games that have a loop, i.e. after completing the last stage restart from the first stage with higher difficulty. Either way, the conditions are such that I wouldn't worry about ?4 in a TAS, looking forward to seeing how your run goes :)

A ton of characters can learn it in Der Langrisser and its various incarnations, but not until being promoted to their 4th or 5th level class. Edit: Ok, re-read, yeah only Agent class gets Teleport in Langrisser II, and only Liana and Lana can reach it. I've never seen a summon spawn with Teleport. Voted yes after watching but didn't post about it until now. This run was amazing, seeing the luck manipulation involved and the AI abused into walking into their own destruction by underlevelled characters. Loved how the last scenario went down. Thanks for the detailed commentary!

Yes vote. What's the name of the song played on the piano? It's so familiar but I can't place it.

Is the emulation up to par for rerecording on these games now?

What are the technical limitations preventing a run that syncs on hardware?

There will never be a console accurate emulator (and thus never a console-verified TAS) for pokemon rby/gsc due to how insanely hardware-implementation-defined the RNG in those games is.
Yes, I read that, I was looking for something more specific. What are the actual details regarding the RNG and the different GB/GBC hardware revisions? What is stopping there from being an emulator that emulates a particular hardware version correctly enough that a run produced on that emulator would sync on that Gameboy? Or am I misunderstanding the problem entirely? Links would be appreciated, thanks.

If it won't be submitted, I'd love to see an encode of Rayas & Kilaye's run made, polished or not it's fun to see this game get busted open. FatRatKnight that sounds amazing, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Oh, are autoscrollers fair game for running now? I would have thought they'd only be acceptable as playarounds. Would be cool to see something more complex like Battle Garegga (esp. Harder or Extended) get picked apart. Stage 1 - .o(this game has great music) Stage 5 - .o(why didn't they have budget for more than 1 song)

I may consider registering there then. Which of the two is better?
I think Tudou accepts larger uploads. Do any other Chinese members have a preference?

The encode looks and sounds great, I always forget how detailed this game is, yes vote for the movie and yes vote for the encode.

It seems to work here in Shanghai, thanks for your effort!

I think watching in emulator is less effort that registering on a Chinese site for 1 upload.
Fair enough, although I hope any registration could be used for future encodes to reach a wider voting audience as well.

Any chance we could get an encode? Looking forward to watching this one.
Second, preferably non-Youtube. Can't wait to sit down and enjoy this one.
It is 300+ MB, where do you expect it to be uploaded?
Youku. Tudou. Something not blocked/required slow proxy to access in PRC. Wishful thinking.

but if you're going through the trouble of encoding it, why not make it as accessible as possible?
Living in China, I feel rather similarly about the prevalence of preliminary encodes being posted to Youtube.

This run is a playaround but I think the branch should be changed. To me, "Total Control Hack" is misleading, but I can't think of another name for it at the moment. "Hacking" is fine, but not "Hack".
Executes arbitrary code?
