The pacman clone I don't know, but the rest maybe...
Alexx Kid game? There are many of those, and I have only played the first one on Master System. Had some awesome speech as well. "Find the magic ball." :)
Also, Master System has a game called Vigilante, the guy didn't look like ninja, but he used some nunchakus :)
Nothing else comes to mind. I was and still am a Nintendo Kid :)
Everyone recommends Zophar for emu music. I partly agree, but if I were you, I wouldn't touch Zophars SPC archive. Sure, it's HUGE, but the archive is a mess. Most of the files are taggless and timeless, and too many of the packs are incomplete one way or another. For properly ripped, tagged and timed complete packs, http://www.snesmusic.org/spcsets/ is the place to go. It only has musics from 501 snes games though. But I prefer quality over quantity anyway.
I might also add that I have tagged and timed couple of more recent psf releases :) Hooray.
I know I'm a bit late with this, BUT :)
rsn is actually a regular rar pack. If one so wishes, all the rsns can be unpacked. Files in snesmusic.org are also in rsn packs.
The original files don't really have a lenght. They loop endlessly unless specified otherwise. SPC files have that information in tags(and so does every other emu format that I can think of right now), and by default every player/plugin I have used uses these times, unless you are using a player/plugin that dates pre-stoneage :)
Just felt like adding some :)
And this is the vgm list (only OSTs, not the meu stuff) I currently have on my HD. Not all of my junk though, been too lazy to transfer backed up stuff back in after getting a bigger HD :)

I'm Kilu from Finland, just a random fan :)
As a viewer, the qualities that I appreciate the most in these runs are entertainment and precision, and I might also add that I personally would be willing to sacrifice second or two to make the run more entertaining. And of course the nostalgy is a big factor as well. I rarely download run if I haven't beated/played the game myself. It's so much more fun to watch a run that you are familiar with.
Newest would be Gamecube, and I love it to death. I also have a PS2, though I rarely play either of them. No cash to buy any new games, and though quite the majority of new games blow, there are some gems that I would like to play. Oh well. My newest game is... Beyond Good & Evil for GC. And that game whoops ass.
The best avatar ever, from the best video game opening movie ever :)
I would be more than happy to see original REs speedrun. But that might be just because I'm a damn RE freak :)
Ahoy.
I was wondering that has anyone of you guys ever ran into a decent Castlevania timeline covering all the series games (maybe not boku boku dracula kun and the like). Is the Castlevania Story found in gamefaqs any decent? I got that one, but am hesitant to read it, knowing that so many of gamefaqs FAQs are bull, why would this be any different.
So yeah, anyone? Maybe you can forward me to a good site.
As said, it could be cool if done right. For example, using only knife. Both challenging and fast. With regular guns and whatnot they could be kinda boring to watch.
The cookie holds now. If you haven't fixed it, the only reason I can think of is that I made clean OS install on friday, and maybe there was something fucked up in registry or something.
-_- Please read my post.
To state it more clearly, I have read the thread, how else would I have known that it has been mentioned before. However, no one posted anything about fixing this. Post like does not help me.
Though it has been mentioned before and some people seem to have fixed this problem for themselves... Wiki doesn't keep me logged in more than a day. Using Firefox 9.2 and no, haven't imported any IE settings.

Might be worth mentioning that I'm always logged in these forums and pretty much everywhere else in the web. Main site is the only place I have this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I recall, one has to destroy all the evidence againts Ace(guns and whatnot) in the end of the game. Now regarding the time attack, this would probably be quite boring.
I don't remember Shadowgate for example having such long, time consuming and boring but necessary activities.
I'm not saying that you shouldn't do it, I'm just saying.
On a side note, how much money do you need to beat the whole game? And how random are the lady beside the police station and the mugger near the cabs?
Good timing Kyrsimys, I was just about to make a thread about the entertainment level not being as high as it used to be.
As in, Morimoto's original mario 3 run was very entertaining, awesome jumps and the 99 lives thing as well. Enjoyable to watch. Fast and entertaining.
Now, most of the runs are aiming to be just fast (and as has been pointed, sloppy even in that) and not entertaining at all. Some sort of quality control would definitely be needed.
That said, I think it was good to bring this up.

Or more of a demix. It's chip tunage, aiming at as authentic NES sound as I could. Download it and tell me what you think :) It's a bit short, but don't let it bother you.
It's two song compilation from PC game called Tyrian. Download it and tell me what you think :)
Just out of curiosity, is there anything else new in this WIP than the recording?
You know, maybe graphic filters or something? A while back I remember seeing on zophars forums that someone had implemented some fantastic graphic filters in some unofficial build, and I was wondering if they would make it to the official version. They were totally sweet. It's killing me that I don't remember who had done it and lost the files myself in HD failure :\
