My brother thought it was fun to watch me work on a Mega Man run for a while, but I'm not sure if it's an activity that translates well to a short Internet video. But you might still find a way.

Hmm, I was going to guess that "fpoon" was just "spoon" spelled with one of those old-fashioned s's that look like f's.
But on the current topic, well, I would say that the speed is something you throw into a video walkthrough in order to waste no more of the viewer's time than necessary... But as long as you're being speedy, you might as well be FAST AS POSSIBLE! So speed should probably be a part of every video, yeah. Sure. Actually I didn't really read those 9 pages that sprung up in much detail, so maybe somebody already said that.

And someone else might take over once Bisqwit gets tired of it!
Zurreco's avatar isn't moving very well at all in this Internet Explorer. Should I ask my roommate to TRY SOMETHING ELSE? USE YOUR HEAD, HUNT! NO, NOT LIKE THAT! TRY SOMETHING ELSE!
That Mission: Impossible Nintendo 64 game was a little silly, yes.

I think I read somewhere that "woot" meant "wonderful root", but I don't think that's correct. I mean, nobody says "wonderful" anymore.
Wait, are you saying it stands for "Good Game" and not "Got to Go"? Oh dear! I had been assuming people were simply forgetting to type the T or 2!

But there are probably only enough keycodes to fill one byte, right? You could do like FCEU and have "Toggle key ### after ### frames" commands in the input file.

I actually prefer NTSC just because most games were designed to run on NTSC systems, and the PAL conversions often throw off the intended timing of the gameplay in various ways despite the programmers' best efforts. That's also why I like picking Japanese versions of a lot of games. But the American localizations tend to be better known in English-speaking communities and sometimes have more features, so I don't mind that so much.

Seven seconds, really? Well, if it saves more time than it takes to access the watch at the very beginning of the level (Or can you set the controls before starting the levels?), then do that. Otherwise I would wait until you're first forced to go to the watch menu to pull out some gadget, so you don't have to go through the arm animation an extra time. I don't remember when the game first forces you to use the menu, though. Was there some button combo that let you pull out things like trackers without having to bring up the menu? But sure, you could use SRAM for the test run, I won't be too mad.

Heh, if you're ever going powerless somewhere, make sure to try holding an enemy over your head to see if you can gain an advantage from it. Many enemies, including ones that don't have powers, have some action they perform after you inhale them and pull them back out, such as lifting Kirby into the air or shooting things at other enemies. I think the funniest enemies to inhale, though, are those green chomping enemies in the background... not because they do anything special, but because I didn't expect you could inhale an enemy like that.

Well, the guidelines say that if you have to wait for something, don't make it obvious that you're waiting. But I think you could also try to make it extra obvious that there's a forced wait by doing something interesting during that time. I guess it's just a question of preferred style.
