Strange, I thought we were going to blame every calamity that has recently stricken America on the gays getting married. But maybe I've watched too many Fred Phelps videos.
Now, is it true we're only supporting Israel because they'll produce the 144,000 Jewish evangelists those Revelation prophecy guys always have in their End Times checklists?

I rather suspect that the Auto-Save zones are really just a chance to load the next area's data.
I would agree, considering that each save zone is also a point of no return, where you can't scroll back to the left anymore. But they are also helpful if your Game Boy gets switched off suddenly.

It's equipped to run in both modes. In VisualBoyAdvance, go to Options->Gameboy to choose a different kind of Game Boy to emulate.
The sequel is Color-only, however.

Yeah, that might be a good idea. If you want to use the chip trader at all, it would also be nice to see how it's coded to figure out exactly what it's able to give you. For example, I read in one guide that you can only win a Navi chip of a kind you already own (therefore, don't trade away your Roll chips!). Now, I haven't been able to disprove that yet, so it may be true, but we ought to know for sure so no one wastes their time trying to get a chip that the machine's not programmed to give. Another guide listed probabilities of the number of stars of the chips you can win in each machine, which makes me think they looked at a disassembly, but it didn't say if any chips were restricted from being awarded.
EDIT: I just confirmed that you can win the Poison Anubis and Muramasa Blade chips from the 10-chip trader even if you haven't beaten the game. Who knows if Anubis might speed up a long battle?

About your WIP I can say that discovering making enemies disappear is incredibly nice and will make up for a big improvement. Can it be used on other enemies than the ones in the WIP, or do you even know what criterium an enemy must fulfill in order to disappear like this?
I take it you mean the Holograms in ShadowMan's stage? It looks like one of those scrolling exploits where MegaMan turned around for one frame, which was enough to scroll the Hologram off the screen but not far enough to scroll a new one on. You can do a more famous version of that trick with the bees in HardMan's stage in real time quite easily.
