Oh, I guess I could throw out any more hints I can think up. I don't know about settings besides making sure to record from "power on" somehow rather than some other way. Well, there's a patch to press opposite directions at the same time, but I don't know if that does anything in this game.
Hmm, I should test whether the "throw a Pharaoh Shot while charging another" trick works here.

Oh, I guess I could seed it now if you want...
I was working on an improved version of this, but I don't really like the interface of either Famtasia or FCEU anymore. FCEU is just too buggy on my system, and Famtasia doesn't have hot buttons for the speed, or frame advance, or a frame counter during play. Plus people don't seem to like Famtasia, probably because it's missing some helpful options like that. Oh well.
..........Oops, never mind; I must not have ever finished downloading the file onto this computer. I guess someone else will have to help you out here. Sorry.

Well let's change the rules. No one will care that much if there are a few ROM files here, right? (I think changing the rules is my favorite solution for any problem, but I bet you all disagree.)

Well, you should probably use FCEU so you can see your frame count at all times, and you should use the same ROM as the last movie, since it's for NTSC and in English. You could try moving BrightMan up earlier in the route and see if having the Flash Stopper earlier saves more time than using the Rain Flush on BrightMan. Otherwise the route seems fine.

Well, if Rain Flush doesn't really save time on BrightMan, but Flash Stopper does save time on ToadMan, could you insert BrightMan just before ToadMan? Or was that tried already?

Does Flash Stopper help in ToadMan's level? I'm thinking back to how Time Stopper stopped the wolf mini-bosses in WoodMan's level from entering. That doesn't work on the snails, does it?

Whoa, I just remembered that I recently found a way to fire a small Pharaoh Shot while charging another one. I should test this to see if it's useful in battle.

MegaMan makes it sound like he's a million men, while RockMan makes it sound like he's made out of rock. I guess MegaRockMan makes it sound like he's made out of a million rocks. Anyway, I like to watch the TV show and obnoxiously sing "Meggerman!" slightly out of time with the theme song.
Hmm, really? So it depends on when you shoot at him or something like that? I thought you could always manipulate luck just by pressing different buttons.

Mm... I'd be fine with seeing the bonus levels completed backwards, just for something different. It would probably be best to end the game by beating Bowser, so I think you should exit the castle immediately after you've unlocked the bonus so you have the least stuff to redo.

I was just thinking about this run before you bumped it...
Is it possible to keep BrightMan from ever using his Flash Stopper on you? I know I can in the Game Boy game, where he basically pulls one of his three attacks out of a hat just before he does it, but maybe they changed his AI.
Okay, now someone bump RockMan 6 and RockMan 2, FAST! :)

I read a couple of other hoax pages describing how to get out of that level. One of them said you had to follow a path across certain platforms to finish, as in levels 4-4 and 7-4. Another one was really silly, showing Mario coming up against a Goomba King. XD
I think that guy was either lying or misinformed, because everybody on the GameFAQs message board says that doesn't work. I would check for myself, but I got tired of playing Pokemon a year ago.
