The "Events" class is composed of runs that have been showcased or presented in an event/marathon format, and are incompatible with typical publication rules.
Overview
- Aims to highlight and preserve TAS content showcased in an event setting.
- Runs that are incapable of being independently sync verified are allowed.
- Event publications cannot be obsoleted.
Technical requirements
- Submissions must include a rehostable video of the event in question.
- All contributors to an event run must be properly attributed, and any objections raised by contributors must be taken into account.
- Multi-game events must be split by run and submitted individually.
- An input file matching the game and console must be provided, though it does not have to accurately reflect the run.
Event requirements
- The run must be showcased in a way that isn't otherwise publishable.
- Publishable event runs will be properly published to their appropriate class.
- Showcases of already published runs will be treated as commentary for that run, unless the showcase is transformative enough to warrant a separate publication.
