A break from the usual side-scrolling fare, I used to play this with my older sister years ago. I was often the archer, not because she was any good (she's probably the worst of the group) but because her rebounding arrows annoyed my sister to no end. Ah, good times.
No, I don't understand the point of the meaningless speculation in the ending either. I suspect poor translation.
The chain-wielding red(?)head, Erin, is my choice for the run. The reason becomes clear at the first boss. She kills the first boss (and several afterwards) in one "hit," since her chain does damage every frame instead of being a one-hit projectile like everyone else's.
In case you were wondering, everyone gets a projectile-blocking shield they can use by holding down the attack button. Since it takes a while to get it going, I use it only twice in the whole run (once towards the end of act 5, once in act 8). I point this out because it doesn't seem obvious when I do it.
There are a couple instances of random factors that I just can't seem to get on my side. One is the waterfall; the one I go into happens to be furthest away, but I've tried so many times to get it to change, I just gave up on it. Another is that incredibly annoying dragon that forces a few seconds of wait both ways in act 4. Additionally, there are a few enemies I should have killed but didn't (one in act 2 spits a projectile in my way). I whiff a few swings of the chain, too, though that doesn't cost me any time.
Additionally, I suspect the run could have easily gone without talking to Leaty (the statue at the very beginning), who gives me two power crystals I barely ever use.
I must admit that I have already played this game. It is good to play and have nice music.
One question persist. Why should it be published?
The game itslef isn't that hard and there's some errors in this video. -Phil

Typically, at this point in the submission process I'd drop into a tiny Piro-esque rant agreeing about how much my run sucks and withdraw it, possibly promising to do an improved version in the future.
Yes, the errors in the vid are more or less inexcusable and grounds for rejection alone, but your comment on the difficulty has me thinking...
I think my choice of character is what makes this game so incredibly easy and fast. However, I'm not sure if an alternate character would make for a better run. It would certainly require more effort on my part, and it would certainly be much slower, too.
I'm gonna cancel this, but I haven't decided if I'm gonna try again, or which character to use if I do. -nifboy
The problem, it is lacking of action. So if it is played with an hard to control character then I'm sure it will be more entertaining.
Btw it will be mentionned in the description of the movie that it is played like this, so no one will replace it by a powerful character(it will be probably refused except if it shows interesting bugs but will not replace your video).
Ex. My Double Dragon 2 is not played as fast as possible because it will mean using the flying knee technique which is boring to watch.

Just forgot to mention that the hardest the game is, the better it is to watch. -Phil
