feos: Delaying, hoping a BizHawk release potentially fixing the freezing ending won't take too long. If anyone knows if this but is also present on real console, please let us know.
feos: I compared this to current publications of versions of this game and this one is different.
Also it took us half a year to realize we could simply tweak the ending to make this movie not freeze the game right in the middle of the ending. So here's one that delays second to last combo by 6 frames, while making the final looping animation play 3 times, should be perfect for encoding.
CasualPokePlayer (who ported the core to BizHawk) said the core is poorly written, and the console itself is poorly designed, so fixing it to not freeze due to being more accurate is virtually impossible. On the other hand I don't want to force the author to deal with a complete movie replacement, so having a fixed version specifically for encoding sounds like the best idea.
