Rescue Time is an NES homebrew developed by SJ Games, the same company that made the KUBO series. A guy with a cap has to warp through time to help out a guy without a cap. He must press start to use his "watch", which doubles as an invisible time machine.
Objectives:
- Emulator used: FCEUX 2.6.4
- Uses an early warp
- Collects cartridges in a cartridge game
Here's some of the game's physics:
- The game takes 459 frames to load due to an unskippable opening cutscene.
- Sometimes the game lags. Killing enemies faster can help reduce it.
- It's believed in RTA speedruns that you have to collect 4 cartridges to warp to the final stage, but with good precision, you can warp straight to the final stage from the start of the 2nd stage.
- The first frame you can press B to load the next textbox is the frame before all the text has appeared.
Thanks for reading. Expect a couple more SJ Games TASes very soon.

EDIT: With help from ShesChardcore, I have since improved this TAS by 82 frames - https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638099169559133697
81 frames of the improvement were from Chard, so I’ve added her as a co-author.
