"still one of my favorite tasing moments was discovering that the most optimal path in this boss fight is farting and burping. I found ram addresses, analyzed damages and attack times, and concluded that I should fart on people" -adelikat
NOTE: This movie was submitted with the end inputs matching the current publication, however there's actual credits after this point if you press start enough times. I am unsure if it's preferred to have the movie that reaches credits be submitted instead so I'm linking it here: Userfiles/Info/70127691814661844
at the very least, if the current submitted file is preferred, the one I just linked can be used for encoding purposes.

This is a 203 frame improvement to the previous publication. The biggest differences are in the Street and the school levels.
To sum up the game's plot, Beavis and Butt-head get tickets to a Gwar concert, but the tickets end up getting shredded all over town, so they must get all the pieces together so they can make it in time to the concert.
Each stage consists of puzzle solving that would not be obvious to most players, so I can try to explain each thing that's done in the movie, what items are picked up, used, and so on. I may not get everything so I apologize if I do.
Stage by stage comments
Burger World
First place we go is to Burger World, we head to the dumpster to grab some items to put into the fryer, including a mouse/rat thing.
The code to enter the employees only door is spelled out as "Butthead" when you read the letters on each key
once we put the items into the fryer, a customer eats the food and barfs out a piece of the ticket.
in order to leave the stage with all of our items, we have to go to the exit with our remote equipped (only Butt-head can do this). You can't select "sucks" to quit the stage because you lose everything.
Hospital
You can get past a guard by burping while he swings
You steal the fat guy's scooter and make him fall down stairs, and then a piece of the ticket shows up
Street
This stage is where most of our health gets used up, luckily there's some health pick ups once we reach the junkyard, but they're very limited.
after we go through the sewers and enter the junkyard, we pick up a duck to use for a later stage
Junkyard had the most changes in the run, as some of the enemy placements are completely different from what I assume are emulator differences. but either way we don't actually grab the dart gun as we can get around the areas later in the game just fine without it. Most of what was improved here was the ability to skip some eagles and better jumping around the cars. The whole reason we're at the junkyard is to pick up a dog bone to use later.
On the way down we grab more health pickups to use.
when we reach the house where the lawn mower guy, we have to fart and burp on him to kill him. then we pick up the key on his lawnmower to enter his shed. however we cant enter the shed unless we throw the bone for the dog, which happens so fast that you don't notice it.
While in the shed we pick up two items, a fishing pole to use at the end of the game, and a chainsaw. we use the chainsaw to cut down the tree which has the ticket in it.
Room
since we got enough ticket pieces, we have to put the first ticket together, while we're here we also grab a pair of pants and a camera, as they'll be used later.
Mall
This stage has some of the most convoluted tasks you need to do.
First once you get past the guards, we head into the pet shop to get a snake, while the manager packs it up for you, you grab the key while he isn’t looking, then use it on the bird cage to grab the ticket piece, then before you leave, get the snake in a box
Next grab some oil in the car place.
Then you go to the yogurt shop to grab some soap from the bathroom.
Next go into the laundromat, it's important to note that you aren't allowed to enter here unless you have soap and some clothes to wash, which is why we grabbed the pants and the soap earlier. We then use the oil to open the washing machine so it doesn’t squeak and wakes up the old lady. The ticket is in this washing machine.
Next you go to the shop to sell the bird and the headset for later.
Lastly you go to the army building to terrify the guard there with the snake, then you can grab the book with the other ticket and the bomb
Now you can leave the mall
drive in
for this stage we must use the cash we got from selling items at the mall to get into the drive in.
We then throw a bomb at the concessions to blow up the soda machine, making a mess everywhere
We then go an take a picture of a fat lady and make her chase us to the concessions so she can slip and drop a ticket piece.
School
This stage also had some improvements with the maneuvering of enemies. Since we don't have the dart gun we instead use a combination of farting and burping to get past enemies.
We get some items from classrooms to use in other classrooms
Home
The last ticket piece is by using the fishing pole out of the window. we can now put them together and head to the concert
Gwar concert
rock on!!!!
Other comments
Big thanks to adelikat for his previous movie.
and thanks to Gens for having the stupidest audio emulation:
feos: Judging...
feos: Replacing the submitted file with one that completes the game.
feos: Accepting over [1025] Genesis Beavis and Butt-Head "2 players" by adelikat in 09:27.03. The movie looks longer, but it's because it's more complete. Actual gameplay is shorter.
The feedback was really positive for this submission, even though the 2 published movies for this game are very Vault. Since this run is any%, we can adjust the tier in the future if needed. So while I don't think this movie is any different from the existing ones, the feedback was Moons, and we can give this movie some Moons exposure so that more people could rate too, and then we'll see. Yes, it's a problem that we don't have a system that'd allow properly sharing the data between submission voting and publication rating (as people voting very often ignore rating afterwards). Yes, we're thinking about solving it someday.
