Mega Man 5 is the fifth game in the Mega Man series released by Capcom for the NES in 1992. Set shortly after Mega Man 4, Dr. Wily once again attempts to take over the world, with Proto Man leading an army of robots in a series of destructive attacks on the world. He also kidnaps Dr. Light, Proto Man's own creator in the process. Assisted by Beat, a robot bird gifted to him by Dr. Cossack, Mega Man sets off on an adventure to stop Proto Man as well as Dr. Wily.
This time, Darkman425 defeats Dr. Wily and rescues Dr. Light without using the Mega Buster (unless Rush Coil is out or absolutely necessary) or the Super Arrow.
