Take Kirby's Adventure and add more color, variety, and additional moves for each Copy Ability, much like a fighting game, and you have Kirby Super Star!
Known as Hoshi no Kirby Super Deluxe (星のカービィスーパーデラックス) in Japan and Kirby's Fun Pak in PAL regions, it's a collection of eight sub-games in one. This includes a remake of the original Kirby's Dream Land, the famous Gourmet Race, and a campaign to stop Meta Knight, in a surprisingly villainous role, from conquering Dream Land.
While appearing well-programmed on the surface, the game has many time-saving glitches, from warping to the credits to zipping through walls. These are, of course, freely abused in a TAS.
