So... Someone did it for the sega master system: http://hisms.orgfree.com/ I'd still love to have it on NES. Apparently what he does is some sort of upscale to the way the emulator handles the graphics table by 4x, and uses an alternative, 4x bigger graphics table instead.

It took quite a few years to become available, no? Time has passed and TASing has changed too much for me, I don't have the wilpower to do it anymore. I'm trying to focus my life on other stuff.

Many people can beat battletoads and ghosts'n goblins. What I haven't seen is someone beat Holy Diver (NES). The last level is waaaay too cheap.

As I've mentioned 6 years ago, the game has a weird bug when you exit the screen, it shows a lot of garbled blocks. I didn't find anything there, but if someone wants to test this game, that is something to look into. I don't really remember, but I would say the way to get to the garbled blocks screen is to teleport to a platform that is too high on the screen... Or maybe the platform to the left near the rocket.

The AVGN rocks, the site is for fun, if the section is presented as a curiosity then it's good, but if it starts to look like the avgn has anything to do with tasvideos then it passes the wrong message.

I've done some testing, and I haven't found an end to how fast the game can get. Here's a savestate: http://www.angelfire.com/ex/uobt/sequestrealfast.zip Maybe a movie that starts from a savestate where the game is as fast as it can be and scores a few points would be interesting. Maybe rescue all 6 divers once and that's it. This thing goes faster than sonic.

banshiryuu, great post there. I'm puzzled why is the riff in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAy3nlATLkk exactly like the riff at the start of the wild arms intro song.

If you like VG music it is your DUTY to play vvvvvv. If that convinced you, don't listen to this, it's kind of a spoiler in a way that the music is so good that the moment you hear it in the game you stop what you're doing to listen to it, but if you still don't believe me, listen and then go buy this game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vjyhx49BIzc (listen to it loud)

I do not see a problem with that strategy.

DarkKobold, why didn't you use the Japanese version? This TAS would have been an hour faster because the text scrolls faster.
The only reason I would watch this would be so I don't need to play it again, so that would kill that one reason. I think I'll watch this, while doing something else. Especially since my desktop is rigged with 2 screens.

"many years". Wow I can't believe this was made 6 years ago. yeah, I'm not sure but I think 100% wouldn't be incredibly long.

I see, thanks for the explanation. My vote then is yes. I'm meh for ending input as early as possible in most cases, unless it's a novelty factor.

I liked the game choice and the run overall, but one thing bugged me: couldn't you send the opponent running across the entire screen at least once? Also, couldn't you get back on the ring as soon as possible and go deep back in the ring as a show off move on one of the rounds? It seems that you used the "get in the ring as late as possible" way too many times, but I'd like to see the opposite. Getting in the ring as early as possible is probably what Brandon did on his fmv :)

He says "So long, Bowser!" with a super mario accent. There's no confusion in my mind. I really don't understand how can people not see that. Maybe it's confusing if you're a native english speaker...

I honestly don't know if people are trolling or serious when they ask this question. Are you serious?

That looks a LOT like lemmings 3D. The game is dated, because the camera doesn't work that well, so maybe you'd like to try some other lemmings games. I think the best one is "the lemmings chronicles" (DOS). But the minigame from wii party certainly does look a lot like lemmings 3D.

I really hated the experience of playing on any smartphone. Something about the "controls" if you can call them that, annoys me deeply.

Friendzone is when attempting to find a mate fails, so It's bound to happen, unless you're some sort of Don Juan (or in celibacy). The problem is if you stick to trying to convert the girl who decided to just be your friend. Like kuwaga said, you might get the conversion, but the chances of you wasting your time are high. There are many girls out there, try another.

The end: I'm badass. Go home now, the game is over. Level 5 reminded me of AVGN's silver surfer review, with the kindergarten halloween level theme. Damn LJN! There was a spot on level 6 I think that it looked like it was faster to jump off the ledge instead of walking to it, but then later on I realized that jumping is slower so it probably didn't make up for the time saved from falling faster. It's a good run with good music, voting yes.
