I have complete banner blindness unless it's a chick shaking her boobs. Maybe we should add boob shaking gifs to the really important sticky threads.

Same here. The video was too mind blowing to just watch and ignore how it was made.

I think the best moment would be with Richter on the right side of the screen, with alucard already past the room.

Yes, the game was released as music 2000 in Europe. It's the same game.

Laser to the dick is super effective! Man the music made me tired a bit near the end but I still enjoyed it. Kinda repetitive, so I'm also on the high meh, just because it's a game I like and it looks well planned.

I really like it. Is that psx's mtv music generator? edit: after a bit of research, yes it is. Only played with it a little bit in 1999 and I still remember it :P

I kind of did this on my Yo! Noid TAS on the last level, but yeah I've always thought about doing this on a tas that aims to be a music video and not a speedrun. It would be a good viral video I think.

My yo! noid published movie makes the game crash after it ends and cuts to attract mode, but I have no idea why.

Do not upgrade to windows 8.1 without making a restore point. Yeah I've lost 2 days trying to fix it and finally decided to reformat my whole system and install a pirate windows because the original made my brand new notebook unusable.

I'm not sure he meant it to be used in TASing.

There was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlkMs4ZHHr8 It's indeed a very insteresting area. It would be really nice to have pre-built AI for player 2 on the emulator for relevant games.

Also, it is unlikely that your game will be perfectly glitchless even if you try.

You asked about an enemy's HP, that is a piece of info that can be tracked by use of the memory search. Truly, movement patterns can't be tracked with that method alone.

It seems that you could benefit a lot from memory search, are you trying that? It isn't as complicated as it sounds, it's actually kind of fun. Here's the page with instructions http://tasvideos.org/MemorySearch.html

As I've mentioned in the other thread, some sort of pvp game. I thought of street fighter 2. It would be interesting if score was kept and each side represented a cause or group. But it would be really great if lag could be reduced. Can this be achieved by other means than streaming video? (sorry, off-topic)

Nice thread ressurection, I guess I had missed it. Maybe robotron 2084 allows for a higher kill/min ratio than Beetle Mania?

That's what I'm talking about! It seems quite difficult to get anything done too.

There's that twitch channel where you watch bots fight in a mugen game with random characters. So the first thing that came to mind when watching this was to set two groups of people and put them against each other on some vs. game, preferably street fighter or that mugen game. For controlled scenarios where you would know the amount of trolls was reduced or inexistent and the input was more responsive, it could be pretty interesting, especially if the groups have some rivalry. On the pokemon side of things, can someone make a graph of progress comparing the rng play vs. crowd play?

I didn't see any possible improvements. The impediments to speed in each section were self-explanatory to me. It's a good run and it's an interesting way to know the game.
