This game is sold as stand alone version too. There is a flash game that I've been playing lately that would result in a VERY cool TAS. "Give up, robot" (1 and 2 actually): http://mattmakesgames.com/games.php

It's more fun not killing the enemy. That way you can do things like replacing their weapons with harmless items while the time is frozen.
I belive that the point is only your conscience is outside "reality", so your body would also be frozen.

First thing: win at lotery, but a common small prize, nothing fancy. Secondly: find about everyone's secrets just by talking to them, and then go back as if I had never talked to anyone. (all this can be very confusing to the one with TAS power, you gotta remember everything and know when you've talked to people or not). Yeah, filming myself juggling in slowmo TAS would be incredible. Develop along with scientists a gun radar and then go on a justice rampage boldly fighting crime on my own (it'd be complicated to savestate after getting shot in the head because I didn't know it was time to be careful). Thirdly: be able to go back all the time (closest to immortality). Has anyone seen flash forward the tv series?

I'm worried, imagine when (not if), his cartridge is stolen, water is spilt on it or the battery just erases itself. Don't leave guns near this kid!

What about doing it old fashion by trial and error?

I couldn't play it on the gamepad so I quit. Also, mario doesn't jump higher when running, why? That's common knowledge. That and the fact that he can't jump on every enemy without dying.

http://tasvideos.org/forum/index.php Can that link have the same mini icon that browsers use as the http://tasvideos.org/ link? It would be useful for the favorites section in browsers, because right now it is displaying the forum as a generic icon.

Alright I did watch, my vote stands. I thought it'd be a much longer movie, I guess I'm used to the NES version. That is a good thing. What I would have liked to see was more synchronized 4 player eye-candy action on the waiting moments.

I'm voting YES before watching. I will watch later, I promise. Consider the vote valid after that.

How much longer would the run be if the goal was to attain every item in the game?

I wasn't aware of this glitch! I'll watch later, but it seems promising.

I guess this is a very good idea, it could encourage tasing on different systems. Only problem is when certain features exist only on some emulators. In this case perhaps the best option is to make the feature dimmed when it's not available.

Nice website... Too bad I don't own one of those glasses, it could be possible to see it in cross-eye mode.

Well it's not a bug, the menu item is always greyed out and isn't linked to a routine, nor is a routine created for the purpose of the menu item
It's a design bug then.

The point of the board is to share information, not to fight or tease. If you're not going to help, then don't post please. Good work whoever is making the TAS, and good luck.

This idea has been brought up quite some time ago, I'm not sure if it was on IRC. Not sure why nobody did it before. It's nice to see how the video is spreading! It appeared on a brazilian Wii/NDS news website and that's where I saw it first (it embedded Ryuto's YT video).

Entertainment-wise, this run is regarded as inferior to the current publication, because the affectional scenes were not as imposing as those from the published movie.
I haven't watched, but I would be disappointed not to find improved acting during wait scenes.

I don't know what you guys are talking about in poor physics? It's the best physics remake of these games I've seen, better than that only the real thing.
