ooooooo i think i get it... zsnes saves a temporary state every 2 seconds or so, and the rewind button simply loads it. but on my tests it only "rewinded" 13 times in a row (maybe 12, i didn't count that hard lol). it's a tool that is maybe BETTER for rerecording than save/load buttons, cause it does 2 things at once. gotta test it.

i managed to get through the falling boulder by jumping at the right moment so i could go under it before it fell. but now there's this big rolling rock that i just had to lose energy.... it's the only moment i lost energy. i made it to the boss of level 5, and after him there's only mizrabel or whatever is her name i think. 17 mins so far (still got to beat the boss of level 5).

could u complete the game on hardest mode? that's what i mean.... sure, doing 1 level is easy, but the time is cumulative, so if you don't do good on the first level you will have little time left to do the later ones.

don't be silly, that war is long over, it's now old school vs new school, so genesis and super nes are all on the same boat.

This game is tight and FAST but i know not much about it except the fact that it's HARD, so it would make a good movie maybe

i have finished a movie on the duel mode using the midget and it takes 4 minutes to end. i used the rolling attack a lot cause it's so much stronger than the others, so the movie may not look too fancy.

hmmm only now i realized that foot bag would be the funnest to make a competition but it's easy to make as much score as you want, just don't let the ball fall.... that ruins everything :P hehe

u need to get close to a boulder that is on the roof, so it falls, then u normally wait for it to start rising again so u can go through under while it's rising. what i can do is approach, then go over it, but that still makes me wait a bit. now, if i just run through it, i can get past the other 2 that are right after it (because of the invulnerability seconds)..... nm, haven't tried enough times yet, there might be some way to do it fast without getting hit, hopefully.

i'm on the beggining of last level and have 15 minutes so far. should i get hit to save time? i managed to get here without having to get hit, but on this part there are these falling boulders that i need to wait if i don't want to get hit, that is very ugly..

i found out that he goes a little bit faster while jumping, so i remade the first 2 levels. i also did some better moves / killed better enemies so i improved the time to the end of level 2 by 20 seconds. it looks more PROFESSIONAL now lol

always make backups of your movies... every 5 mins of game you copy the file (just drag and drop on same folder, it's fast), so you can come back if a rec screws up

i found the super mario 3 run amazing because i didn't know it was tool assisted, then i watched again and i knew it was humanly impossible. i think you should let people realize that it's a tool assisted play on their own, that is funner.

i think you should just delete those topics right away, so we wouldn't have to read them at all!

it's crazy! gets graphics from i don't know where and puts contra and super contra enemies on unexpected positions, it's not a regular hack of super contra, the weapons are slightly changed, there's a 1-up powerup, the power-up ballon throws bombs at you, the bosses sprites are different, but u can tell wich boss they changed it from. it's a good game for contra fans that are "saturated" of regular contras

The .NES file format specification states that those bytes should be zero, so Famtasia expects them to be. You can zero those 9 bytes with a binary editor if this is the problem for you.
what do u mean by "zero"? change "diskdude!" to "000000000" or to spaces? i opened on edit by using /64 and all it did was break a line every 64 characters, it didn't show 010100111010001010 style. it was ascII....

1) you can use whatever rom to record. it doesn't matter if we have it or if we don't. if u want to watch a rec, you will need the same rom. but it's an issue for the watcher, not the recorder. 2) u need time :) 3) dunno, i think there shouldn't be any problems.

it can be done as if the players were one, just config the controller. it would look cheap though :)
