I'll send it to RHDN since I have a workflow already.
And the movie doesn't sync on the fixed patch.

Please describe how many you needed in the end and why, and how they are obtained in the game.

The menu is available from the start, why did you need to lose Endurance as Scorpion and then beat it as Frost?

What is the verification movie needed for?

Update: acmlm fixed the main problems and is about to make the last minor fix soon, before it's ready for RHDN.

Oh! Thanks, you reminded me to replace the movie! At first I wanted to wait until I'm able to verify it, and then with nrg_zam's encode I forgot to get back to it.

The difference is in the importance of the role. Movie scripts are written as a basis for the future creative work (which may end up deviating from the script), but submission notes are never written before something has been TASed: you need to invest enough effort first, to then be able to describe it.
If we work with motion picture analogies here, it doesn't matter if TAS input file is closer to a movie script or to a film reel. What matters is that submission notes never play the same role in TASes as scripts play in movies. They play the same role as spoken annotations, interviews, and other "making of" kind of footage that answers the same question: what it was like to make this movie.

x264 needs video dimensions to be multiples of 4, I may have forgotten to add that detail to the guide.

The link to x264vfw is in the guide. Uploading lossless video to youtube is pointless, because youtube decides how well it will look based on its resolution, not compression it has. So you want the highest resolution you can afford, which makes lossless even more pointless. And uncompressed video is not even used by anyone ever because it's giant, and also slow.
