Rotation is not supported, and isn't planned.

Anycase, at least Metal Slug X does meet the Moons standards for entertainment for both 1 player and 2 players.
Does that include obvious gameplay/routing differences?

Oh. Yes. The actual judgement note. Yeah, my bad. Still, that's a very old judgement and I think with today's standards these should be considered as different games, and get the old movie removed from the obsoleted chain. I'm not asking it to happen, I'm just pointing out that it could be the case.
The post that contains actual explanation and is linked from the judgment makes it sound like in addition to one game being a version of another, the author kinda makes sure there's minimal difference in the goal, and that goal is also questionable. All this is still relevant to Moons requirements. So if you want to disprove that decision, please quote its parts and explain why they don't make sense anymore, and these are 2 completely different games and they are played differently enough to look like different branches with unique, entertaining content. I'm asking you for the legwork here because I may not be able to get around to this too soon. If you actually feel they're substantially different, you'll definitely be able to formulate why.

Do they meet Moons standard on entertainment?

Doing something about player counts and eligibility for Standard is a future plan. We add one Standard goal at a time, so we'll get to it eventually. Right now there's no policy on keeping player counts separated. It just happens to meet Moons requirements sometimes, so we decide to have both. I'll look into your example later.

If there will be obsoletion, 2P full completion can theoretically be obsoleted by 1P full completion, but 2P full completion can't be obsoleted by 2P any% (what the hell??! it's faster!!11). So full completion is more important, hence it should go first.

It only needs a label for a goal if it would be a separate branch from one without that goal. So yeah, remove.

Yeah it's better. Did you have to use resync savestates this time too?

I don't know the game, but if all the previous scenes are just overworld navigation, this timing looks good for subs.

No, I'm not suggesting to duplicate their meaning, I'm asking to replace these two tags altogether with two new flags. Since these two affect class-eligibility as you wrote, that's exactly why they should be given special emphasis, and not being put together with trivial aspects of a movie, that are all the other tags. Also, I don't think that "people don't pay attention" when the interface simply is cluttered and confusing, and could be improved in many ways.
If it needs to be improved, it will be improved on the new site. Flags are not as expressive as words, so how would you even draw an icon meaning "Forgoes major skip glitch" and potentially other tags like "Forgoes warps"? I don't want people to try to learn and remember 10 icon meanings (potentially more).

Fastest completion flag only works because it's not directly tied to anything already present in specific goals expressed by tags. It's a meta concept, and new branches may steal it. If people don't pay attention to tags, it means they don't see their meaning fully, at least they aren't aware of how it changed recently. Tags are definitive for class-eligibility. Duplicating their meaning with flags will add complexity and visual clutter eventually, and it'd be hard to explain the functional benefit from having the same thing represented twice everywhere.

If you can pick difficulty directly, rather than via a password or a save file of prior completion, it counts as an in-game difficulty mode and is fine for Standard.

Does it automatically increment difficulty every loop?

Enctopia, do you still have the savestates you created for the resync? For future encoding of this movie (for example SD downloadable encodes) we can host them somewhere for future encoders, so they don't have to do the resync from scratch.

It literally says about Wine "Note that for future purposes, testing this workflow is still encouraged." It's not fully functional yet, but if no one reports its problems to keylie, it won't improve.

The main problem is we can't distribute pre-installed disk images with Windows. Asking people to install it themselves requires 1) perfect match of the installation files, and 2) perfect timing sync between author's installation and user's installation. If you spend a different time installing it on your end, disk timings (and hashes) will be different, which leaves no guarantees the whole thing will sync on that image. A potential workaround is running windows apps on a different OS that has compatibility, but ReactOS doesn't work in PCem, so the only other variant is Wine in Linux. So if your game works in Wine, that's most likely how you should TAS it, without having to deal with Windows whatsoever. Wine support in libTAS is incomplete from what I've heard, but it will hopefully be improved in the future.
