The reason is embedded player. Looks okay on YT itself in any resolution.

I'd like to pronounce as a word anything that can be pronounced as a word. FCEUX can't, DeSmuME & TASVideos can.

You can save a state right from the Read-Only movie while watching your own progress. Pause it at the frame you need to resume from, 1. Save a state inside this movie 2. Toggly to Read+Write (Q key by default) 3. Load that state (you'll see the Record Status Icon) You can swap steps 1 & 2.

We can upload lossless video to youtube. But if it is of the console's framesize - it will SUCK extremely hard. The best solution for little uplcaling - something above 720. But why the heck we need to upscale such little? We struggle for the best possible picture. Be it 1080+.

Oh. My. God. We DEFINITELY need some psychological inspiration description back on that page. It is SO poetic!!! I'm extremely serious here. People around see movies, but they almost can't understand our MOTIVATION to do what we do. The sence is that: We do things that were supposed impossible, beyond human. But we do that not because we are superhumans. We merely BELIEVE this IS possible! Just recall how a new crazy trick to try first comes to your mind. It is true creativity, art in most lofty sence - to get rhyme lines, melodies, plots, images of anything you feel exalted, divine, inspiring, really interesting - DIRECTLY from "nowhere", from some sacred secret source.

No, if you redraw them transparent. The real issue is sprite/backgroung order I think.

This is too labour-intensive, though I wanted to suggest something like that a week ago. But let's remember all these talks about sprite RAM. Can this sprite data be hacked on console basis, not game one? Lua may be able to kill sprites that blink (which may be detected using logging info at the first pass, say, running a movie) & draw them pixel by pixel transparently (if not, don't shoot me for n00bity).

Yadif can't be loaded, error 0x7e. Does it work with 2.6a?

The code may be implemented as a patch, doesn't it?

The only thing I can imagine to solve that is to delete one frame before the blinking, if it starts from "wrong frame". When I tried keeping top line for deinterlacing this vid, it started looking really blended between frames, though the scrolling looked more gradual than on my gif above. And the blinking on the other place in this movie looked proper. Will post examples here. EDIT: The above gif was made at keep bottom field mode (1:1 ratio). Here's how it looks with top field & 0.5:0.5 ratio: And here's a comparison of another problematic place. Keep bottom looks the same at any ratio: Keep top with 0.7:0.3 ratio: And finally with 0.5:0.5 rastio:

I have, but we have other consoles that may not allow that. Wee need to ask this guy some questions about his methods.

How do I pack the above functions into a proper script? While previewing partyboy1a's script in VirtualDub with deinterlace filter at Yadiff mode, keep bottom, I got perfect picture with 15 FPS flicker instead of 30. Both video & blinking rates were reduced by two. Hell yeah, this looks very much like on TV! EDIT: Now blinking totally depends on what frame it starts at. It may appear almost invisible in some places of the movie and good in others.

Well everyone, my official lab project for Texas Tech this semester is to have a TAS run on the N64 console. Wish me luck. I'm currently reverse engineering the controller, but to show any sort of progress will take me a month or so.
I doubt Mupen is accurate enough to have any runs sync on a real console, but good luck!
Perhaps not, but you could 'store' input given to the game while playing and play it back - and what emulator is better than the console itself?
What we need now is a console slowdown method, to play it if not frame by frame, then at least at 1% speed. And even if it'd be possible, the real pain would be hacking the console to allow savestates (which I doubt is possible).

Decisions are based on will, aren't they? But sometimes you do what you can realize, while some things you do you don't realize, though can't stop doing, even if you consider they are somehow wrong. You can feel some alien will leading your actions. One more ground for your actions is emotions. So, we see 3 grounds for your actions: 1. Your own will, based on realization (brain determination). 2. Alien will, not based on anything logical (like, psychopathic behaviour, but actually anyone may act like that in speciffic situations. The matter of final rightness of such actions is a different one) 3. Emotions. Can we even speak of free will when the most independent of these 3 is totally deterministic on intellect level, environment, some little circumstances & emotions also? The only thing looking free is ability to CHOOSE in some key situations of your life. And this choise depends on your conscience. Which ALSO determines your will, lol.

Depends on the exact one you mean. TinyPic broke my previous pic & replaced it with random black girl. Noticed this only today.

As the bug FatRatKnight described seems to be fixed, no graphics is shifted inside his boxes, we have totally rewrote the AVI-HeadsUpDisplay script. Though some secret guy is going to allow us recording HUD onto AVI as an option of FCEUX, it won't be movable and won't contain regular timer as this script allows. http://pastebin.com/fJq0zGjc

Can lua detect if emulator is in PAL mode? If no, how about that feature in future?
