http://tasvideos.org/PublisherGuidelines.html#MkvMp4Files I wonder why is it there at all then.

My point is, it can be safely put into a webseed and will be downloaded via torrent. But if Archive killing commas for direct downloads is a problem, we might just officially stop using them for author teams. What do you think?

Actually, what I thought was related to commas appears to be a https problem, commas are still okay as long as the link is http.

Many games were rejected back then and you were part of it. The acceptance of "vault "content is here to stay and i'm glad to have complained about it.
What?

So I do
torrent -a -u <torrent filename>
on my file that was not webseeded, and it does get trackers added and starts webseeding! Not sure about any extra info, like on these trackers, but that's what I see right now: The https bug is being fixed, dunno what new bugs should I check for. Should we really use -p option?

Woah, it's the first time I see submission text that reads just like a judgment note!

It's been quite some time since Archive started forcing https for item pages, and that's where we're copying links for publication mirrors and webseeds! So all torrents where "s" is not removed are broken, the server can not seed. That's hidden for cases when someone is seeding it locally, but that's no fix. So I observed my own publications, and was shocked to find out, that my first torrent with https webseed was back in 2013.11.13, and all the following ones were so! My guess it that I had an Archive.org bookmark as http, and it was sending me to item pages with that, then it started forcing https for them and it all broke. Then I looked into other publisher's latest encodes, and it appears some of them are in fact doing it right! They are using http! Guys, are you doing it manually each time you copy the direct link? Anyway, among the current publishers, myself, sheela901, fsvgm777, natt, even Ilari and Nach, are using https, which means we all would need to check when it all started and redo all the torrents we've done with https.

Archive doesn't seem to understand commas in filenames anymore. Can anyone test getting encodes with several authors (separated by commas) via torrent?

My powers are currently spent more on problems that aren't even closely related to this site, they've always been there, but being known for my obsession with everything new, I got it from most of tas-related things, and now it became really really hard to find even newer things within here, or at least those that would fit my abilities. I'm about to finally start DW pacifist, but otherwise what I feel about the rest is somewhat close to "burned out". Not giving thanks to anyone just yet, or people would think the thread is closed :)

I've just found out that Pete's OpenGL plugins (both) automatically apply some kind of true antialiasing no matter what resolution you use. So even at 1x, polygons look way better than with soft plugins. Then, I tried bilinear downscaling once again, and at least how avisynth does it, lanczos is in all terms better than bilinear. Finally, it doesn't matter for SD what resolution you downscale from, polygins look the same as at 1x. But sprites look sharper at 1x. So it does make sense to dump at 1x with Pete's plugins for SD and at any hires you can afford for HD (old OpenGL seems to have tearing glitches when not using integral factors though). To clarify, previously I thought antialiasing is when one simply increases internal resolution. But it appears that these 2 options can be divided: true multisampling is when whatever resolution you use gets rendered at way higher resolution and then then downscaled for you so that you don't see any saw on polygons, while increasing internal res simple renders at that res and that's it. Then there's anisotropic filtering for objects that are far away. Dolphin combines all of those, and it's tremendous! Pete's OpenGL plugins do the first 2. Desmume hires increases rendering res and has an option to additionally antialias it. Not sure about mupen. OctoShock has neither!

My notion on myself has always been something like "I have energy, I do things that are not mainstream but awesome, I am trying to evolve hence I am evolving, I am trying to be correct hence I am correct". And sometimes all of those appeared to fade out, which was not taken seriously by me at first, I was trying to argue against it, but now I'm sure that I actually was changing, losing energy, distracting, and convincing myself it all was not so didn't help me. My main problem is that I lose the feeling of something new and unique that was always driving my activity, and I don't know where to take it again from. And as always, that includes inability to look at myself from perspectives of other people without becoming an argument geek. So in this thread I ask you all (who know me) to post anything you think I am/was/have been doing wrong, except that I wish there's no emotions involved, just your impression of my dark side. And I promise to not argue against anything, but ponder. After all it's the newest info I can get from anywhere right now. So please if you disagree with something I tend to do, post it.

I wonder how far you'd need to go to the past to set up all the needed factors to make her appear there in the first place. Because the world does not yet have a routine to appear random girls in front of you at all.

BTW, I took Moth's advise to concentrate more on publishing and less on judging, so I'm not claiming as many runs for judgment as I did before (I still do it consistently). So if there's a run that isn't claimed for a long time, I request other judges to finally handle them.

Amazing! I love it! EDIT: I advise to use a lossless codec for gifs (lagarith is best).

Your 40k view TAS would get you $100
Sam's best uploads have 40k-100k views, and there're only 4 of those that are Abe related. Looks like he only has some promotion on the RTA side. Sonicpacker's best vid has (drum-roll) over 4 million views (the next 2 best having 1m and 500k views)! And he doesn't actually need promotion since this is already the place where people would go for some new SM64 content (but he gets highly promoted anyway I guess). So I really don't expect any of the newer Sam's TASes to get over 10k views, even if posted on his channel, even if used in publication modules, even if made on BizHawk.

Have you read the first part of my post? You're stating that you want to upload all your encodes to TVC, then you call me mean for not allowing you to do it because you originally wanted to upload them to your own channel. You can still upload them to your channel all you want, just don't expect us to add them to publication modules.

Super Mario 64 "120 Stars" - 431 489 views. Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus "100%" - 812 views. Like there's anything to monetize...
