Sweet stuff, didn't expect this game to become fun.

Preliminary script. No idea if it will be any useful, but it shows some stuff. REMOVED, SEE BELOW 7a - end of batch 64 - psycrow goes up 63 - psycrow goes down 30, 31 - puppy 03 - randomly jump forward 0e (followed by 08) - randomly jump back 62 - bomb As we can see, it goes back and forth through the config table, using rng for jump offset. There's a fixed number of bombs in the table, so it should be possible to manipulate it to load config address closest to the bomb. Will dump bomb addresses later. Puppy speed that affects the amount of bounces they will take can be (and is) predicted, but I'll look into how it can be affected by randomness, if possible. In any case, if we know what outcome we want to get out of manipulation, it should become easier to succeed and improve.

In future, drop everything after the "Texte de l'exception" paragraph from your paste.

Usually it holds your savestates, but after some version branch states and current branch were added in the end. And then they were moved to different files. But I have no idea what went wrong for you, since you used the same version, and don't know what steps have caused the bug.

Well, I meant you need to just open it as an archive and remove the Greenzone, no need to unpack and pack again. And yes, you should try loading it to tastudio then.

Upload the project somewhere. Or just unzip it and remove the Greenzone file.

Were you able to open it recently with the same version of bizhawk, or it was a different version?

I can't believe people don't disable them instantly after installing a new system.

Can't you guys see that this all affects ONLY sexuality? Someone being male or female doesn't matter except in sex unless people are fucked up and treat males and females arbitrarily differently. The whole pronoun thing is stupid and I would prefer a language that just doesn't refer to people by their sexes since it doesn't matter, but I'm stuck with English for convenience.
If you (or whoever else in the world) don't currently see a good reason for that, it doesn't mean there's no good reason. My personal approach is to carefully tune my gender to "sound" best coupled with my sex. It's rare to meet people who succeeded in that, rare to the point that it's considered impossible by some. And no, it's not based to sexual relations, relations ideally should come as a result. But I'd like to say that barbaric hatred towards someone's transgenderness doesn't prove anything other than that those haters are generally stupid, their opinion is equally stupid and should not be considered. On the other hand, no negative treatment at all isn't good either, since it removes causes to evolve upon oneself (which results in the worst things ever).

You might want to wait until I figure out how to manipulate Puppy Love better (if it's possible, otherwise I'll just post why it's not).

So far there has been found nothing in difficulty settings that makes gameplay more entertaining (google didn't help!). The opposite, in this case, Hard makes it way less entertaining than it would be. So yeah, using Easy is the best option. If it reduces damage, it's even better, as allows more HP management.

This looks like RNG used to randomly change position to read level config at (making decisions about Psycrow actions):
Language: asm

26:C2CE 48 E7 MOVEM.L {d0-a7}[70 00],-(SP) 26:C2D2 52 47 ADDQ.W #1,D7 26:C2D4 22 39 MOVE.L ($00FFA1D4),D1 26:C2DA 24 01 MOVE.L D1,D2 26:C2DC 5E 82 ADDQ.L #7,D2 26:C2DE D2 81 ADD.L D1,D1 26:C2E0 D2 81 ADD.L D1,D1 26:C2E2 26 01 MOVE.L D1,D3 26:C2E4 D2 81 ADD.L D1,D1 26:C2E6 D2 82 ADD.L D2,D1 26:C2E8 D2 83 ADD.L D3,D1 26:C2EA 23 C1 MOVE.L D1,($00FFA1D4) 26:C2F0 24 01 MOVE.L D1,D2 26:C2F2 48 42 SWAP.W D2 26:C2F4 B5 41 EOR.W D2,D1 26:C2F6 CE C1 MULU.W D1,D7 26:C2F8 48 47 SWAP.W D7 26:C2FA 4C DF MOVEM.L (SP)+,{a7-d0}[00 0e] 26:C2FE 4E 75 RTS 25:D682 E5 4F LSL.W #2,D7 25:D684 20 71 MOVE.L $00(A1,D7),A0
Will figure out when it's called and what it affects. Normally, it just reads from ROM consecutively, but this one makes it do jumps over code.

I know we should be talking about the run (it was okay) but can I instead say that I'm really impressed by the speech playback in this game? I've seen a few NES games attempt it and it's usually a crackly mess. (Skate or Die 2 anyone?) The audio here was pretty clear. Does anyone know if they used any special hardware or techniques to record it, or is this just one of those things where the quality you get out is proportional to the time and effort you put in?
You either use 1-bit DPCM, or 7-bit raw stream, the former has special DMA happening at fixed time intervals several times per frame to provide enough sample rate (don't recall which exactly), the latter's sample rate is decided by the game, and it calls DMA whenever it pleases, at any rate it wants, so you get 128 times as much possible amplitude levels, and endless possibilities for samplerate. And here's how it sounds: Link to video

Hm, it looks like the next unit to spawn in Puppy Love is just read from ROM sequentially, and is always the same every time you replay that level? Any insight before I test tomorrow?

This is the best TAS I've see in a long while. Its skips are so amazing and obvious that I'd even consider it for NewcomerRec. If not these Puppy Love levels. Damn, if there was only one, it's still be a star, but they had the cheek to put in there THREE of them! Now what gives me some hope is that it must be very improvable by knowing the exact RNG code, and using it to make him throw the puppets puppies the farthest, stuff like that. Unless you guys already have this all figured out. Have you? http://plasmon.rghost.ru/6BwmjBkLp/image.png
