Aktan, I suggest you to even publish it.

Current slot is a config thing, dunno if it should be reset. Ask in #bizhawk.

Works for me. Try killing the greenzone.

Everything works fine for me, and it's off by default too. What if you remove the config? EDIT: Fixed clipboard indication.

Bump. Anyone tried using flash player on Wii/Dolphin? I can't believe no one got this idea before. The entire flash player memory will be within Dolphin's, so it can be saved/loaded on a whim.

Can you guys tell what constitutes increasing difficulty in this game? Also, obtaining the champion belt does generate a cutscene that looks like an ending to me.

I hope nobody has secretly preclaimed this for publication? Because I'm going to, since I can't publish the 4 damn runs that are still there in the cue waiting for a publisher. Spike, you have enough already, if you want more, go grab some of those 4. Ping.

You can use them as a bot that mashes random buttons and load some sort of a state and get them enter different inputs until they achieve some special goal for the given segment. For us it's speed. For Bisqwit's SMB bot it was beating the game: Link to video The point it a TAS is to rerecord. When you set a goal and do the rerecording, you start superplaying. Now look at the top left corner of this page.

I didn't mean that I didn't understand, I'm following everything you guys are doing, this was just completely unexpected: that fceux startup ram is more accurate in the end.

That article is from 2011. bsnes core was ported to bizhawk in 2012. It just has 3 versions: accuracy, compatibility and performance. All of them were in bsnes back in 2012, just not all of them got ported, because bsnes is a hell to get to rerecord. If you run latest Higan in compatibility mode, it will most likely give you the same glitches you see in bizhawk.

BTW, if you see some code in that disassembly that isn't converted from raw data, let me know, I can force conversion to code for such places.

For example, I went to write a basic jump predictor and found that apparently BizHawk Lua has no equivalent to gens.emulateframeinvisible(), or even a way to automate frame advance at all since every call to emu.frameadvance() just defers the script.
To force advancing a frame you client.unpause() and then client.pause() on the next frame. emulateframeinvisible() can be probably hacked in in some way. I successfully converted this to bizhawk after all.

I also reverted BizHawk's start up state back to a previous one similar to FCEUX, this combined with the random VBLank flag and I got precisely the same desyncs as true got on MM4, and Streemerz superb Joe. I also got the same battletoads desyncs, but it required a few more tweeks then just that.
That's... What!?

So why won't we obsolete it? It's in Vault, people barely care. All its run has to offer against this one is different graphics and one different glitch used once. All the rest is weaker. Challenger, so have you tried other speeds? My take is that the original one is better due to feeling authentic, but what impression do other speeds give?

How about this. I asked him why no one TASes 3DBlast exactly 5 days ago! That game's music tracks composed by famous Tetsuyuki Maeda are fantastic.

I followed their instructions and here's the asm file, but it has no names, so I dunno how helpful it will be. The names are stored separately in text files I guess? https://yadi.sk/d/Q6v29ihz3AHQFM

The votes don't quite agree with the posts, and I gave it a Meh. The action is so much slower, even though it feels neat to see a co-op. And it's hard to follow with 2 separated screens. I personally feel 1P is a moons run as it's a smoother watch, and this one should go to vault. It's hard to predict with only one vote for the published run. We know of occasions when thread posts and votes didn't help when a run only really had vault content, so if there won't be some more enjoyment posts, I'll send it there.

Also, should this probably obsolete the Genesis version? The latter has no music, same level design, and its run has less glitches.
The Gameplay's mechanics of Genesis version works very different than DOS/Sega CD version: * None of these glitches that I used on Sega CD version works on Genesis version. * You can't crouch while walking (or running). * Due of very slower gameplay, you can't bypass several guards (Such as guards of Level 2).
So have you seen what he did at the end of level 10 in the genesis run? Instead of damage boosting through that gate he walks into it backwards while having the sword equipped, skipping the guard fight as well.
