Do you mean right-click? That's the only thing that freezes it for me.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

I already gave you the clarification, saying exactly the same thing as MUGG did.

The actual cap is 59.94fps. Regardless of what some tools say, everything I uploaded that was 60 and higher got reduced to 59.94. 59fps upload remained intact.
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR_HUaPVlquNIuYE9j4BHAkN4WIL8gTaG
For a 59fps upload, it dropped no frames, just killed some of the last ones, 4997-4999, for a 5000 frame source.

TAStudio asks whether it should save the changes, and canceling the closing is a usual part of that.
I'm not opposed to having a warning window, I just don't want it to be the main (or the only) solution. Though I have endless confirmations too.

Those dialogs might be handy, but they sound like they're a sloppy workaround in this case. There should be no way to misclick in the first place.

The point is not that the current runs should also have that proven, but that all the runs should have reasonably equal conditions for a fair competition.

I was reading my old posts, found this thread, and decided to bump it, as some years have passed, and probably there're new people that have something to say.

I don't care about the rules timing, but I can remind about this one:
#5266: Alyosha's NES Cybernoid: The Fighting Machine in 04:39.02
That run relied on a startup state that can be possible, but is not guaranteed to be so, it relied on an unreliable thing and got rejected. That set the precedent, and the rule was just a result, to make all the future occasions like this clear (I guess?).

That's INSANELY AWESOME!!!
I dunno if PowerPak can return to the same game after the reset, but Everdrive can, and it's also more accurate than PowerPak. Though, no flash cart is as precise and a real cart, so absolute levels of accuracy shouldn't be tested against them.

Wasn't ever considered, but I guess it isn't acceptable, as it would emulate a modified hardware which we don't allow.

GPGX wasn't saving interlaced flag to states, but that might be just our version of it, and it was fixed for your libretro build.

RaijinXBlade, do you have a way to test state loads during interlaced mode in some official gpgx build? I get corrupted graphics in bizhawk if I rewind in that mode.

Exactly. Can there be a way to capture it internally?

They are 100% windowsism, so use Wine.

RaijinXBlade, please record an example move of the game that does switch to interlaced (during your movie) and back.

It hasn't yet actually, the discussion spawned again recently on IRC.

Lag differences don't count when comparing the runs for optimality. Only the actual gameplay. If the game allows you to do some action later on a more accurate emulator, do it later, and we'll only compare how optimal that action itself is.
Can you discard the lag and just adapt the better strats from the old submission?

People also post honest feedback about how they feel regarding what they have seen. This is why No votes are given: 6 people didn't get entertained by your tas. That's okay, being entertaining isn't the criterion that would lead to rejection if a run uses either any% or 100% goal. We have the Vault tier for such runs.
But even for Vault, the game must feel beaten to get accepted. We don't publish runs that just reduce the challenge to make things easier, hence the hardest difficulty guideline. Simplifying things should be justified in terms of TAS contents, because even if we don't require a run to be entertaining, we still prefer it to be impressive compared to regular play.
Basically, if the prince mode allows you to actually beat the game while not taking away any important gameplay aspects, this submission has all chances to get rejected for not having a solid reason for easier difficulty/game mode, exactly because it doesn't beat all the traditional Lion King Levels, and the viewer feedback shows that it's a significant downside in this case.
As I said, nothing aggressive was said. So you don't have to feel bad.
