You haven't actually made a point lol. 10/10 trolling.
Except there was far more in the thread besides that, including lua scripts and an entire theory TAS along with those 'basic' trick demos, all done over a year before your run. But yeah don't worry that's not insulting at all to the people who did those.
Do you know what a PAL is?
Anyway, after addressing the troll far too much for my own liking, let's get back on topic.
Is manipulation in Terranigma extremely rigid? I'm so used to games where manipulation is entirely input-based or button-based, so I can't imagine how hard that must be to figure out.

It's ok. I've seen Mega Man runs far better, tbh (Which isn't that controversial of a thing to say since every Mega Man game has a run at this point).
I'll give it a Yes regardless.

Excuse me for being incredulous, but assuming this was your kid why the hell would you be answering his questions literally ten seconds apart from each other.
In fact, why would you be responding via FORUM POST anyway if you talk to each other every day?
It's obvious that you made a duplicate account, but as to why is the real mystery since you're not banned.

There's two effects of door transforming in dungeons:
1) You transition to the next room without actually transforming.
2) It whites the screen out until you leave the area you're in or detransform.
I assume it's because the game isn't actually clearing screen data in dungeons since it's all one big ol' map. Consider it a minor speed/entertainment tradeoff that I didn't do it.

Except it has been said multiple times that the video file is more a nuisance then helpful
We weren't asking for you to submit the run for publication. We were asking you to upload the movie file so we can see what input is done for each trick.
For example: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/34192786141103242 this is Arc's user file for Zelda 2
I don't mean to sound like a jerk and walking you through such a basic process, but since we're like a page in and you still haven't posted this file I'm assuming you have no idea of basic site utilities that everyone knows about, or you somehow missed basic English and are reading a completely different topic from what actually exists.
It's a little condescending that you would assume Panda would just copy+paste your input. First off, it's on a different version so that wouldn't even work. Secondly, your input is probably not so godly that he'd want to copy+paste it anyway. Then again, I'm just assuming,
since you're being a moron and not revealing the thing already.
This'll be my last post on this issue. If you don't want to give the user file, fine. But at this point you're just being an annoying nuisance about it, and from here on I'll assume you're actively baiting for reactions over this userfile in order to try and pretend you're still important.

K is this input file some rare resource that you're afraid will end the world when you dole it out? Clearly the inputs aren't obvious because multiple people are asking for the input file. Can you please just post it so we can move on to more important matters?
Language hasn't had priority since like 2008. The idea is you do it on the fastest version, and if you're obsoleting a movie that was on a different version there has to be SOME sort of new optimization to the game besides the new version choice.
A TAS is for entertainment purposes AND speedrun competition. Plus, slower text and gameplay isn't very entertaining, unless you live on a different planet.

Maybe so we can figure out how you did certain tricks without reverse-engineering it from a two and a half year old video? Seems pretty obvious to me why we would want it.
Also no shit the English version isn't accepted, it adds another hour to the game because of how much slower the framerate is. If the framerate was the same it would be fine.

I'll be blunt, this game is really boring. All you do is slowly go right and shoot things, but unlike Contra or Super C it doesn't feel like it's difficult.
Giving this a no.

So, an update of sorts in regards to any%. While working on the new 100% run, I found a few things involving Spiral Kick.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkAO_2fRJy8
Two Spiral Kicks are enough to eliminate these minibosses. Combined with using a Storm Puff on the liquid chick, and that's 16 seconds of menuing saved. (8 for equipping Flash Bolts twice, 8 for deequipping them twice)
Related to that, a very fast, new strategy for the Tinkertank has emerged:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uobalstGdrk
This completely eliminates the need for Flash Bolts in the route, which will save an additional 2-3 seconds of shopping.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxAGLbmfkbI
Pushing the block this way saves a good 7-8 seconds, which helps mitigate any potential timeloss that can incur by not using flash bolts.
Spiral Kicking has a wide variety of uses besides this, in particular allowing Shantae to open key chests in the Golem Mine very quickly, one-shotting the Magnet miniboss, and being a fast alternative to deal with enemies in weird situations. Estimated to save at least 25-30 seconds, including the 11 seconds with the additional shop to get it.
In addition to what I've found, here's a little bulletpoint list of other improvements that can be added to the new any%:
~124 frames deloading the elevator's hitbox in Golem Mine
4-5 seconds getting the second key of Golem Mine with blue polarity instead of red.
86 frames in Dribble Fountain by avoiding 2 hits. Requires either 4HP or 2HP going in there to do it though, so we'll see.
~10-15 seconds getting the Tinkerbat transformation before Twinkle Palace. This saves having to buy 4 potions for the hover right after Bandit Town, and some detransformations in Twinkle Palace. Takes about 740 frames to grab it in Bandit Town btw.
Edit:
As it turns out, not only can you manipulate where Zombie Caravan goes, but you can warp to its new location immediately after you finish Cackle Mound! However, its position will be set until it's daytime again.

This should save well over 40 seconds in any%, since it'll cut out the entirety of Mud Bog.
Edit: Still experimenting with some route changes. Here's the unfinished improvement before I found all this junk btw: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/34208731037468038
