As promised for 2010, we have been working on expanding the Game Resources section of the site. We have new pages, such as TMNT, as well as big improvements to pages such as SMB2 USA and SM64. Game resources now also a main menu item on the site. We also have some new streaming options specifically designed for these pages. It is now possible to loop a segment of video by using the start & loop parameters. Width, Heigt, and Hide Link options are also available in order to improve the layout of pages with several embedded movies. We have several new editors working on several new pages. I am very pleased to enthusiasm for this project.

Any game with a monkey as the main character is enough to get my yes vote.

Ok, thanks to CaH4e3 for figuring this out. The game can not have both music and sound FX at the same time. You press select then A to toggle between them. Either there is a bug in the game or the ROM dump that causes bad opcode. Nestopia handles this by emulating a bus conflict like the real NES hardware would deal with the situation. This causes 1 (music by default) to be written to 0x5fb. FCEU/FCEUX did not do this and thus 0 (sound FX by default) was written instead. Music by default is more accurate to how the real NES hardware would deal with it. Thus, FCEUX has been fixed to do this as well. In the latest SVN (and the next release) the music will play by default in this game. However, that still doesn't change much about this TAS, either you have no music or no sound FX, no music is probably the correct choice in this case.

The lack of music had a significant impact on the judging of this submission. I find that ironic. Should we get this bug fixed, I think this deserves resubmitting and a fair trial.

And I highly agree with your suggestion. Making it happen is very not trivial with the site code though :/

Yabause has a lag counter and any other features of GENS mentioned here. Also, I used Shinobi Legions as my test game when we were working on Yabause rerecording. Unfortunately I never finished my TAS nor did I get around to it since. I look forward to seeing your work!

If it is on other platforms, perhaps it is correct to do one of those ports instead?

I just think that people should not vote yes to a bad game because it is a new system. There may be better games... considering the shit this one is, I hope so.
Well, I played the entire Lynx library. This is the most publishable game I found. Hate to break it to you. EDIT: I'd like to represent the Lynx console as a site Admin. As a TASer I'd like to complete my (somewhat arbituary) all Platoforms quest. If there is a game for Lynx that someone here could enjoy, I'd like to know. I'll look into TASing it.

Make sure you enable NTFS compression on your NES movie folder, so the FM2 files get compressed. Their size usually shrinks down to 25% of their original size.

Screw those animals, they can save themselves. Gordo has more important concerns, like beating the game quickly. Also, I want to point out the rercord count is quite wrong. The actual count is probably about 3000. There seems to be a bug in mednafen's counting.

to use FCEUX you must use .fm2 and you should be using FCUEX. There is a mountain of new/improved features and bug fixes that come with FCEUX. FCEU is outdated as well as the .fcm format.

Are you sure you want to know? It has something to do with your mother and some compromising video tapes.

It was rejected because you were cancelling and uncancelling the submission. This is troll behavior. However, if you look at the submission history, we have already rejected that hack once. So I'm guessing yours would probably have be no different.

How about this as a compromise? Instead of taking down Swordless Link's movies, simply change them to private instead of public for x amount of time. This way the "collection" is still intact but Sworldess doesn't have to be upset about the views competition he is worried about. The question is if Swordless Link then would be able to compromise and decide on an appropriate value for x.

Let me amend that. If you have a clip specifically for documentation and it is under 11 minutes, I would much prefer you let me upload it to our official account for linking.
