good movie, even at the times you use the knee exlucsively, i thought it was still a creative use of the move. in level 7, when you knew the guy into the dynomite explosion. that was awsome. one place that might be able to be faster (though i could be wrong) mission 2: couldnt you do a well placed jump-kick at the enemies that jump out of the helicopter? it timed right you could knock each set into the pit. enemies who fall off of the screen seem to die quicker than the one who blink.

if you discount pressing left+right at the same time because the controller cant do it then what about the rapid fire is some of these movies. even if a human could theoretically push the button that fast i done the controller could respond that quickly i think these glitches dont violate more rules than the existing speed runs.

walking through the "spiked" tiles under the river devil ought to shave some significant time as well. it seems you could skip the magic key as well. also the fairy glitch can be exploited as well (using the jump spell to jump off of the top of the screen and using fairy). i found several places in the palaces that allow you to fall to the screen below, saving valuable time add all these glitch up and this could be well under 20 minutes

this is jaw-dropping the techniques give life to the possibility of DW2 and DW4 speed runs.

does the name affect you leveling up in this game? i know dw1, you stats for each level are determined by the name you choose. is that the case in dw2. if so then you could determine which name would give the best stats. if stats do vary, then you can use luck manipulation to give you the best possible stats for each level.

i have the rockman version, and it desynced about 30 seconds in, but that 30 seconds was enough for me to see how you saved some of that time. those slides were very well done. good work

yeah, i forgot that you have to save the game for that. but still selling it for 19000 should be more than enough to buy all the required items you need

gold shouldnt be a problem once you get to the clown fight -the one where you get the staff of thunder. you can sell the staff for 32000gp and then fight him again and get another one. you can keep doing this indefinately

excellent video, one thing that could save a few seconds is that you can get to a goldman sooner, there are there wooded squares right below rimular that contain them, then you wouldnt have to walk all the way down the screen. also, the last fight is very tedious, i had no idea that hurt could work on the dragon lord. even if it doesnt save time, it would be worth it to use a few more hurt spells on him to cut down on that fight

awsome movie!, i agree with bisquit, the movie should end at the point that the game is completed not when user input is not required. the monopoly movie is a good example, at about 35 seconds the movie stops but it shouldnt be considered completed until 52 (i think?) when the computer player actually goes bankrupt. stopping your movie sooner only makes is appear to be faster, it doesnt mean you actually improved the run. but by definition if, after fixing the ending, it is still faster then it has to be accepted. BECAUSE ITS FASTER.

doesnt anyone have something to say about the MOVIE as far as getting red landers to show up, i think you mean shooting the sarts and turning them into red landers, that would have got my firing rate up a little but i dont think it would have made the movie any faster

i really enjoyed this video, i considered doing a video for this game but couldnt come up with something entertaining, i never thought to actually make it a close game instead of beating up on the computer. the only minor thing i would have like to have seen is the game end on a game winning field goal or one that bounces off the upright
