Not sure if I should just publish this one, then do a new run down the line, or just cancel the submission.
Like I said, even if it's just a little improvement at the end, you should just cancel this submission and so the staff won't have to make the process twice.

How much time will it save?
There's no clue on how much time it could save, how much time it will take to implement the improvements...

BizHawk does support the SNES Mouse. You can go in the SNES menu while the game is launched and choose mouse as a first or second controller depending if you need the normal controller on some parts.

I'm late to this, but did you look at Randil's movie file? There might be a few smaller time saves in his movie. Usually, getting hit while in left+right state is faster. You could use this in Act 10 to save about 1 - 1.5 seconds. I have not tested but it might be possible to improve the Azrael fight with this technique, if you take damage before the last hit to get to the right side faster. Otherwise your movie is solid. Good job!
Thanks for this ! I have to say that I didn't think about looking at old movies... I already started investigating.... Will try to give updates if I manage to save frames (like 1f on the first level but lost due to the cost of 2 frames/In-Game-Seconds like in The Sledge Race.

Shotgun Pubs. Ok, guess I'll ask this one to whoever judges it. What's the branch going to be? Are we leaving this one blank and branching the 5 minute one or are we branching this one as "warpless" and leaving the 5 minute one as blank?
For me, this one will be the branchless one and the other will be the "Credit warp" or "wrong warp" depending what describes the other the best. I'm not familiar with the game and the glitch tho.

Very cool! I was thinking a weakness of the cat boss might be the poor rightward position we're at on the last hit, was that where the improvement came from?
I jumped one frame sooner on the last hit which permitted a better rightward position on the last hit yes. Thanks again to you and ThunderAxe31 for your contribution to this movie.

I'll look at the rest but I have doubts I'll find much more, the vine segments specifically stood out to me as having potential. I suppose the purposeful damage in the final level also catches my eye for being improvable. If I don't find anything else, I'm not sure it's worth co-authorship (compared to a mention in the level notes), but that's up to you.
A contribution is sufficient for a co-authorship to me no matter the importance of it.

Thanks for finding these ! Do you think you'll try to find any other improvements ? I'm waitting to see if Tomygood agrees with your improvements and don't find any other thanks to yours. I prepared a new movie file where i just removed useless inputs (I hate them sorry) while adding you as co-author in the header. When, tomy is good with it I'll add you as co-author and also giving you edit privilege on the submission text.

My first tasing attempt was actually... my first submitted TAS on this site. Even if I begun after another TAS that i submitted before, this was an unserious TAS on HM SNES (a thing that I did during 1 month for a friend). It is with this that I learned most basics about RAM search, recording a movie the traditionnal way and then TAStudios and you could see back then that I came back on previous levels multiple times during the process with the discoveries of new tricks, strats etc. I started to work on this 6 months before I submit the movie but had big pauses as well. Even now, I'm pretty happy with the result. My goal was to submit it on the site so I took my time to make it as good as I was able to.

MUGG has optimized the GB version already, but there's no mention of it here. Did you try all the tricks used in that to see if any are transferable? http://tasvideos.org/3556M.html
Yes I tried, but I wasn't able to reproduce the dragon glitch or the wrong warp of the first level. They seem very differents on many points. Thanks for pointing this out thought.

Alright, I made the 15 first levels on my own without watching strats of Jaeger. They might not be optimal because I didn't spend much time trying strats but atleast this is how the game looks for a better understanding for people that doesn't like to read : Link to video File : User movie #64060056781853198

A maximum score TAS would be considered as full completion and could be accepted if there is no other/better ways to define full completion.

It's not what I meant, maximizing the score without hitting the cap if this cap is reachable. If the score can be increased indefinitively, then I have no other ideas.

Then, could it be maximized to a point that there is no new points to obtain ? This movie would have to be rejected but If a maximum score could be possible, at least there would be a TAS of this game which uses this glitch and both side could agree with it.

Hum, I'm pretty sure that it won't be agreed by a lot of people but if we consider somehow this as a full completion category ? We need to look further if we count lowest time or points (for a maximum score TAS) on each fights but this is a possibility, I don't have any knowledge on this game but it seems like this TAS earns more points than the any%, after, i don't know if it's only due to the glitch and if the score could be improved.

I always follow your work on TR games and I always love them. This one is the only one from my childhood so this TAS has its own place in my heart. Yes vote for sure.

Hard mode isn't necessary in this case, the current publication doesn't use it for a good reason and it will be argreed that it adds no new content over normal mode so normal mode is fine in this case.
