What if we discover one or more of these glitch ? Can we submit more than a movie for each MGs that we discovered ?

Tu peux donc aujourd'hui TASer Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy sur Linux !

I'm in. Will mainly work with technical stuff (glitch research, Lua), and not so much input production. Looking for appropriate team.
We could also make a team if an 3rd person is alone. I don't even know the lua language for the moment so it's a good thing !

Are you sure about number of loops being the factor here? Currently on mobile but this TAS at 1:50 spider looks fast similar to that 8 loop one. What about other animals velocity or position ranges or spawn time? Edit: the linked video starts with skill 2.
I used Livesplit to time both of them so it's not very precise but I got 4 seconds on the first and 2 seconds on the second. I agree that is not very accurate for the precision we need here and I can be totally wrong ! I based my judgement on my little knowledge after my test TAS on the atari 2600 version...

I was planning making this game on Atari 2600 and on Atari 2600, It's sure that the difficulty increases ! There is a lot of difference between the Atari 2600 version and the ColecoVision version so I think both versions can be published. EDIT: I verified that on Coleco too, the difficulty increases by the number of loops which is determined by the velocity of ennemis: 1rst loop at 1:19 8th loop at 13:57

the only way this TAS to be accepted is in Moons because it's slower than your 1 player TAS so it can't be accepted in Vault...

I'm not sure to meet the interest behind this TAS. Even if it's well done with new 2 players only strats, I just see more lags and more ennemis than the previous 1 player TAS submission and not enough difference between them... Sorry but it will be a meh vote from me.

I know in the gameboy version you can skip the ladybug cannonball sequence in level 2 with a really precise jump over the grasshopper. I assume its not possible here? I was TASing the GB one a while back but it was so abysmally boring I stopped. Still is on the PS1 version. But totally vaultable. Edit: Just realized this only has 4 levels instead of the GB versions...8? 9? Don't remember. Probably should be obsoleted if that version is done.
Games on other systems cant exactly obsolete one another. Only in rare cases like for Earthworm Jim and probably some others that I dont know about. It’s why Genesis versions of a game cant obsolete an SNES version, they’re treated as separate games.
I think they can if the difference between these two versions is very small. Most of the time, there are enough differences to do not be able to obsolete each others.

Sorry : I waited some frames before starting the Case 4 to do not avoid the flower pot and I deleted the pressing of the reset button at the end of the case 4 and the case 5 because it's not needed to select the next case. I didn't do it in first cases, because I would have to wait these frames saved before starting the case 4. The only improved case compared to individual submissions is the case 4 where I saved 26 frames (3 frames lost by waiting before starting the case to be able to improve the case, but I saved 2 frames by not pressing the reset button at the end of the 4th and the 5th case).

Could doing the cases in a different order potentially allow you to avoid this? ie 3, 4, 5, 1, 2?
I can try... I'll verify my inputs if I didn't lost a frame there or there at the same time.
