Why did you bump another grued TAS from several years ago again for no reason other than to write a dated meme?

Hey. Quite a bump here. 8 years after all this ended, but that's besides the point. So. Remember how everyone was talking about copyright and who it belongs to? Well. gia did something fairly scummy and they copyright claimed the TAS. The encode falls under fair use (I meant creative commons it's still irrelevant here like Moth mentioend), and it's being mistreated like this. The surprising bit is Brandon's encode on his own channel is still up. However, the one on TASVideosChannel was targeted and taken down. According to Wayback the Encode was taken down after July 8th 2018.

Gonna have to if it's a Netflix Anime. I'll consider reading it tho, since I don't read as much manga and just wait 2 seasons for it to finally come out to the west.

Time to dust off the old Movie Rules.
Cheats, debugging codes, and arcade continues are not allowed This includes any in-game codes*, input sequences such as the Konami Code, as well as immediately accessible hidden menus. Note that, if the feature accessible in that way is suggested explicitly by the game itself or mentioned in the manual as a normal means of playing, such as level restart shortcuts in the Legend of Zelda or Metroid, it is usually allowed. If the code is not used, and the features it provides are accessed directly using game glitches, it is also allowed. Additionally, buying continues with coins in arcade games is considered to be a cheat-like practice, as it provides the player with a free and virtually unlimited power resource, and as such goes against the typical concept of a TAS. These rules are not strict, but are motivated by the same concept as the guideline that says you should play on the hardest difficulty. As such, you can use a code to unlock the hardest difficulty, although it's better to first ask on the forums if this is a good idea. Indeed, sometimes it may make the movie worse! * When we speak about codes that are part of a game that we allow for use in certain scenarios, we are talking about passwords that can be entered in a menu, pressing some buttons on the title screen, passing execution parameters or setting environment variables for DOS games, or anything of a similar nature. This excludes things like Game Genie codes or emulator cheating tools. Codes are considered secret if the game never tells them to the player, neither through official instructions nor during game-play.

People on r/speedrun were upset with the lack of explanation in Super Mario Maker 2 and Pokemon. For the bonus with MM2. People felt that you should've said something like this opens TASing up to Odyssey or Cadence of Hyrule without emulation. Pokemon was pretty much "Read the submission text for more information on the tricks used." At the end of Pokemon I was actually expecting a payload to happen. Not "game end, done".

melonDS is being used as the core. DeSmuME will never be entering BizHawk. HLE emulation from DeSmuME is being used for melonDS emulation. Meaning that the firmware features will be in their. Obviously this can be adjusted for whenever Arisotura makes one down the line but worth noting.

Welcome to 2020 where Spikestuff questions if he watches anime anymore with the never ending backlogs. AniChart shows the latest anime that's out this year or you can bring up something you watched in the past, you can use MyAnimeList to assist. Anything marked in red has been rated M (or higher). Your example is a movie made in 2020 obsoleting a movie made in 2016 and you're refusing to submit it for some stupid reason. That's just you being incompetent Soig. If you have nothing else to say but bullshit continue on, but this is where I say bye, bye.

Your example is an obsoletion because of a submission that was made is an improvement. Aka, my point that I just explained. Come back when you have an actual example instead of again, making up shit. If you don't I'll be off doing other stuff instead.

A Published movie doesn't mean it's an accepted movie, it means it's Published. Don't know how someone who has been on this site for so long can't remember this. Is it because of that traumatic experience you had with the 3 submissions you made? A Published Movie means there cannot be any more contest to the movie, only to that of a new Submission. An Accepted Movie means that if someone can point out that there are improvements which has been done before then the movie can be rejected in favour of the faster movie. This movie is Published. What are your grounds on making shit up?

Soig is referring to this video that he made. To a movie that is Published. So none of this makes sense. Now, as for what Soig's talking about. You already got answered about that, you chose not to listen and now you're asking the same thing. The answer is exactly the same as you asked last time. And Soig, you've been on this site long enough to know that it's called submitting an improvement to improve on an already published run. There's no such thing as rejecting a published movie because you're feeling whatever the hell this is.

For the sake of pointing out. As the description states this is the iQue version playing on BizHawk, this is native BizHawk not a special build it's running on the Mupen core.

Oh that pirohiko encode helped immensely. Can't remember if there's a lua script that correct the graphics or not, but if there is requesting a "Clean Encode" for publication.

I want to nominate [4083] PSX Spyro: Year of the Dragon by Nitrofski & lapogne36 in 22:20.54 for the strong usage of proxies being used to zip Spyro across several levels, admittedly not to the same extent as the proxies used in Spyro 2. If I did this nomination wrong just strike it out as a mod edit.
