I'm not apart of that group (since the subject is called "I quit") differences...
Crashpro3 has done a Walkthrough on Crash 3
In Orient Express Coco gets on Pura earlier compared to both PAL and NTSC
Parts 6 to 11 of that walkthrough shows each levels relic times on each region.
I'll give an example Sapphire relics are shown.
The obvious one where Aku actually stops you from continuing on in the Japanese version to teach you something.
Edit: I don't remember which one is the slowest in Crash 3 but here is a list of which Crash game is the fastest on which region.
Crash 1 - Japanese/ NTSC (It should be Japanese as fastest due to a level shrink and a gem change)
Crash 2 - PAL
Crash 3 - NTSC

Yes I know but pirohiko hasn't done any suggestions screenshots.
Also this shows off more than seeing crash just posing.
Other levels are unique too (Slippery Climb & Up The Creek) but somehow these 3 stood out for me...
not because of the black colour (color) it just shows how broken it really is (especially the middle one)

Should point out Mega Speed Race's sizes actually changes in length, same for the balloon.
Totem Shrinker was the level I was meant to say was 1 frame faster compared to the last run.
Edit 1:
Shark Jumper 1.30 1.30
Facial Slot Machine 0.83 0.36
Now I know my ABCs 0.52 0.56
Facial Slot Machine [Extra info]
The full run's time goes to 17.5
This run goes to 17.0
Faces positioning >.>
Edit 2: All up that would've been 92.57 seconds.

pirohiko, you forgot to mention a death abuse that saves you several frames.
Yes vote.
Edit: (reads theenglishman comment) HAHAHAHA... curse you. XD
*reads special thanks* No problem.
Edit 2: Okay because I don't see it I'll explain.
When pirohiko goes up against Ripper Roo a death abuse occurs at the end of it.
This death abuse saves several frames as the loading screen is forced to show up instead of waiting on a timer.

What I do :
File => Movie => Start playback => Uncheck "Open Read Only" checkbox => Displays "Movie Playback started"
Shift + 8 => Displays "PSXJin*:Read+Write mode"
File => LoadState => I select the savestate file => Displays "Loaded State my-file-path"
What you just did is take it from Read+Write mode and put it on Read Only.
Look at what you did carefully
> Uncheck Open Read Only - Now in Read + Write Mode
> Shift + 8 - Now you have reverted it back to Read Only

What do you mean by saying the level RNG is pointless? Does the game only randomize the order in which you encounter the levels, or something like that?
Also, I thought the video was entertaining. Watching the levels which required pressing buttons in the correct order end nigh-instantly was funny, and the more complex levels were interesting as well, especially when comparing your time to the "qualify" time on the more timing-based levels.
When loading up a level you have the ability to loose frames to get the best possible outcome of that level.
I have checked between my "Maximum Score" run with different loadings (Now this only happened recently).
There was a result. (This was based on the same level)
When the level was loaded up with the best RNG it had a very fast time, however I had to wait a couple of frames...
I reloaded the level and went straight in, the time was worse but the level was one frame faster to the RNG one.
(It was counted from Black, Game name, How to, Gameplay, Black)

Glitchy: yes
boring: yes
innovative: idk
vote: no
Now. Lets. Talk. In. That. Very. Slow. Voice.
Sorry that's what killed it for me, the loading and how long I had to sit, comparison to the snes Family Feud that was short, and (somewhat) funny.

I don't agree.
As Patashu said, the TAS is probably only slower due to some new trick or glitch, not because it's less optimized than the realtime run. There are probably quite a few runs with known improvements. I don't see why games that 1) happen to have known improvements that are executable in realtime runs, 2) happen to have an SDA run that incorporates this known improvement and 3) where this particular improvement accounts for some arbitrary time difference should be singled out.
A general page where known improvements can be looked up per game might not be a bad idea.
The thing is some games, the judges never actually take any time to research.
eg Crash 2 (because that's the easiest example.) the fastest method was founded before the tas was even started and mukki went with sliding without the spinning.
Crash 1 however the fastest movement (Spin + Jump + Wiggle) was only founded about 2 years ago.

SoulCal makes comments on his own run, another tas also does this... another few.
These tas runs are on their own account (depending on the game)
So it should be allowed to let SoulCal have his run only his account since comments were made.
(There was an SNES rpg, Cave Story, PS game another game... etc.)

I know PeteThePlayer (PAL, 44:44) is faster than Mukki's run of Crash 2 any% since more glitches are used...
AND SLIDE SPIN IS USED! (Seriously why did you accept that run without not knowing slide spin (no offense to mukki at all))
ZtarZtorm used NTSC and didn't use all the methods (death abusing) but got 47:44... if he practiced more he would easily beat the tas time.
(Fastest no death abuse is 47:07 PAL ElectronAvenue)
Edit: Spyro, Crash & Ape Escape Leader Boards. is where you can look at these times + videos.
