a new clip for bn5 was found, it uses unlocker in pmd next to some southcorners, like oran1 pmd and acdc2 pmd, they both can be used to clip( oran1 is japanese exclusive but super easy),also there's a lot of wrong warp and debug mode testing nowadays here goes a run that uses the warp glitch and some others: https://www.speedrun.com/mmbn5/run/yl0o4l2y it doesnt use the clip though also another glitch that could be used for factory comp, small skips TAS only: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmDzJvm7Mbg There's also this clip in exe1, which didn't help much with sequence breaking: Dalus explanation: "so if you finish the first comp, go to the next area, and talk to the 3 panicked people, then to colorman's operator, if you oob, exit the area from behind, the cutscene with mayl's phone call wont trigger, but you can still jack into the traffic lights so... i got nothing i was able to do comp2, but that's about it then i moved on and i triggered the phone call regardless you cannot skip comp 2 to go to 3 or anything cause it wont let you the only thing you get out of this is to trigger the phonecall later, and instead of having panic music, you are stuck with the "tension" one" END OF DALUS EXPLANATION

i believe you should not do this full time in no way, please do not do this, it will put in check the charity notion of your effort and is surely not sustainable, TASing is an extremely niche form of entertainment in many other subsets of niche forms of entertainment, you would also be monetizing other people's work indirectly get a normal conventional job, please, i beg you, i know the scare after such an expected turn of events can be harsh, and you may feel the need to try something innovative but now is surely not the time, and turning your back to the corporate world to try to live off TASing content is something fantasious as hell, you'll basically depend on other people's contributions to live i hope you dont take this as an insult but as a sincere concern for your mental and financial well-being. sorry for not being more articulate but im tired as hell, have a great week and good luck in your path

Seems like a bad idea, i know you wanna hear otherwise, but the catch is: it's just sooooo niche. Basically, it's the niche of the niche! Speedrunning is very obscure and this would be even obscur-ier

Link to video Link to video It's all doable on console now! The run has a lot of mistakes but it's the first finished run. A new category was made in RTA for separating unloading glitch runs: https://www.speedrun.com/tww#Any

Upthorn, you have my empathy, there are things we cannot change and it saddens me when people bring self help mumbojumbo to situations like yours. There is simply no bright side for some things, and even if there was, there's no point in making yourself more miserable for not being able to turn things better. Allow yourself to be sad, to cry and i hope you can find solace in whatever is good in your life. Hold on to your friends, family, love or whatever you can find comfort in. I also hope my message can give you strength to keep being able to find happiness in life again and again, even if things may seem bleak right now.

Real question: Why is Svimmer so butthurt about the fact SDA isn't relevant anymore? Everybody else explained way better, SDA site's staff never made an effort to get updated policies, improve the site's layout or anything else. They should be glad they made GDQ at least. By the way, you can find my posts in SDA too, i used to be a huge fan but it's no longer necessary to go there to watch good runs. Besides, Svimmer is the worst kind of advertisement a site could get LOL. Just randomly insults because somebody else doesn't share his her excitement for a specific speedrunning site.

SDA is a thing of the past, it had the necessary rules for the time it was created but even then there was still cheating; a huge audience and community peers reviewing is way safer for run verifying than having a small number of verifiers for obscure stuff. The process was convoluted because it was the only way it could be,but it's not relevant anymore.

Considering how simple the game looks like, you should give it a try yourself, looks like a good starting project!

Link to video I thought it was something related to the uppercut, but it's something else entirely. I used the same save and did a jump attack and a fireball and they all killed instantly. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/54670864297956157 Sources for glitches: Link to video Link to video
